Is GameBoost Legit? Warranty, Fees and the Best GameBoost Alternatives
GameBoost is a real game marketplace operated by Global Gaming Services d.o.o. in Croatia, which its help centre says was founded in 2022. It takes the buyer's payment at checkout and releases it to the seller only after delivery, and every account comes with a free 14-day warranty that pays store credit for the full amount if the account is banned or compromised through no fault of the buyer; a lifetime warranty costs 15% more. Sellers pay 8.5% on most accounts, and buyers pay a checkout payment fee GameBoost does not publish as a rate. The closest alternatives are G2G, Eldorado.gg and U7BUY for games, and PlayerSells for social media accounts.

Is GameBoost legit and safe to use?
GameBoost's Terms say the site "is operated by Global Gaming Services d.o.o., a company registered in Croatia", and its footer gives registration number 081421549 with an office in Zagreb. Sellers must pass an ID and proof-of-residence check before they can list or withdraw. GameBoost says payments "are only released to sellers after successful delivery": the money reaches the seller when the buyer marks the order delivered or it auto-completes after 24 hours, then stays frozen 5 days on accounts. The Terms describe GameBoost as "a commercial agent of the Selling Users" rather than an escrow.
The free warranty lasts 14 days on every account. If the account is banned or compromised through no fault of the buyer, the buyer receives store credit for the full amount paid; refunds to the original payment method need a support ticket. The warranty can be void if the buyer does not change the passwords and turn on 2FA, contacts the game's official support, or breaks GameBoost's account usage rules, and the Terms ask buyers to report problems "immediately upon delivery". GameBoost's own pages also disagree in places, for example on whether seller fees still depend on seller rank.
How does GameBoost compare with its alternatives?
The table puts GameBoost next to the 4 marketplaces below on the four things that decide whether a purchase is protected. Every cell comes from the marketplace's own pages, read on October 20, 2026.
| Marketplace | Who holds the money | Published fee | After the sale | Operator |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GameBoost | Who holds the money: GameBoost takes the payment at checkout as the sellers' commercial agent and releases it only after delivery; the money then stays frozen 5 days on accounts before the seller can withdraw it. Its pages do not call this escrow. | Published fee: Sellers pay 8.5% on accounts in most games (10% on Valorant, League of Legends and Roblox, 15% on Fortnite and Call of Duty, 25% on GTA V), 15% on items and 5% on currency. Buyers pay a payment fee at checkout that GameBoost does not publish as a rate. | After the sale: A free 14-day warranty on every account: store credit for the full amount if the account is banned or compromised through no fault of the buyer. A lifetime warranty run by GameBoost costs 15% more than the account price. | Operator: Global Gaming Services d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia |
| G2G | Who holds the money: Holds the payment until the buyer confirms or 72 hours pass. | Published fee: Sellers 7.99% to 12.99% on accounts, by seller tier. Buyers pay an order handling fee not published as a number. | After the sale: 72-hour inspection, then a 14-day warranty on account purchases. | Operator: GAMER2GAMER GLOBAL Pte. Ltd., Singapore |
| Eldorado.gg | Who holds the money: Eldorado takes the payment as the seller's commercial agent and pays the seller only once the goods are delivered; its Terms do not call this escrow. | Published fee: Sellers 10% on accounts, items and boosting (15% on League of Legends and Roblox accounts, 20% on Call of Duty), 5% on currency. Buyers paying by card, Apple Pay or crypto pay 8% + $0.30. | After the sale: Free 5-day TradeShield on account orders (up to 14 days on some), covering a seller taking the account back; 3 or 6 months for an extra fee on select offers. | Operator: GWD Processing FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates |
| U7BUY | Who holds the money: U7BUY collects the payment and pays the seller after delivery if no complaint is open; account orders complete automatically 14 days after delivery, and the money reaches the seller 3 days later. | Published fee: No seller commission. A variable service fee is added to the buyer's price (U7BUY's example is 10%), plus a payment fee of 3.6% + $0.50 by card; payment fees are never refunded. | After the sale: A free 14-day warranty on full-access game accounts from the moment the seller marks the order delivered, covering recovery by the seller, missing assets, bans from the seller's past violations and lost login access. | Operator: Bounty Hunter Technology Co., Limited, Hong Kong (PHOSPHERUS TECHNOLOGY LLC for US users) |
| PlayerSells | Who holds the money: PlayerSells holds the payment until the buyer confirms access, then the seller's share clears to their balance after a security hold of 1 to 21 days (15 business days after delivery on a seller's first 3 sales). | Published fee: 15% of the sale, minimum $2.50, capped at $750, paid from the seller's side. Buyers pay the listed price. | After the sale: 30 days after completion to report lost access; if the seller's payment for that order is still held, it can be used to refund the buyer. | Operator: Duck Digital Ltd, England and Wales |

When is GameBoost the better choice?
GameBoost covers far more games than PlayerSells, about 360 game pages including Fortnite, GTA V, Roblox and Clash of Clans, and sells boosting, keys, gift cards, currency and top-ups. For sellers, its 8.5% fee on accounts in most games, and 10% on Valorant and League of Legends, is lower than PlayerSells' 15%, though withdrawals cost 4% + 4 EUR or more with a 100 EUR minimum.
