Editorial Policy

How PlayerSells writes, sources, dates and corrects the articles in Learn.

Last updated

Who publishes the articles

Articles in Learn are published by the PlayerSells editorial team. PlayerSells is operated by Duck Digital Ltd; the company details are on the About page.

When an article is not signed by a named person, the byline is the team. We do not invent writers or credentials.

What we write about

Guides to buying, selling, valuing and securing social media and game accounts, and data reports built from the directories we run. That includes pieces whose answer is that a platform’s own rules forbid what a reader wants to do.

Sources and data

Figures come from PlayerSells’ own records (completed deals and listings), from the public profile data our engines collect, or from a named public source such as a platform’s help page or terms.

Data articles include a section on how the numbers were measured: the sample, the period and what was left out. Where a number cannot be measured, the article says so.

Our commercial interest

Articles link to the PlayerSells marketplace, and PlayerSells earns a fee when a sale completes through its escrow. We state this so you can weigh it when you read our advice.

Writing tools

Some drafts are prepared with AI writing tools. The figures in an article come from the sources above, not from the tool, and every article is published under the PlayerSells name, which is responsible for it.

Dates

Each article shows the date it was published and, once it has been edited, the date it was last updated.

Corrections

If you find an error, email [email protected] with the article link and what is wrong, or open a ticket from the contact page. We typically respond within 24 hours. If the correction holds, we fix the article and its updated date changes.
