4-year-old Crypto & Web3 / Airdrop community. ~14.9K members. Niche: crypto airdrops, Web3 projects, giveaways, and community calls. Established server with existing member base ready for a new owner to rebrand, monetize (paid roles / partnerships), or use as launch community. Boost level: 0 Transfer via Discord official Transfer Ownership (no password sharing). Reason for selling: moving on from this project / focusing on other work. Serious buyers only. Escrow through PlayerSells.
A Discord server is priced by its member count, how many of those members are actually online, its niche and its boost level. Member and online counts on every listing are Discord's own approximate figures, read through the server's public invite rather than typed by the seller, and the server's creation date is derived from its id. A Discord server moves with Discord's own Transfer Ownership control, so no password is ever exchanged.
The seller places a one-time code we generate into the server description, or into the server name on servers without one, and we read it back through Discord's invite endpoint. Both need the Manage Server permission.
You fund PlayerSells escrow first. The seller then transfers ownership of the server to your Discord account from Server Settings, which asks for their two-factor code if they have one.
Check that your account holds the crown, review the roles and remove any administrator you did not add, then confirm in the deal chat. Escrow releases only after that.
A Discord server is transferred with Discord's own Transfer Ownership control, found under Server Settings, Members: the current owner picks the buyer's account, enters their two-factor code if they have one, and the buyer becomes owner. No password changes hands and the seller's Discord account is never shared. On PlayerSells that step happens after payment is in escrow and before the buyer confirms.
Member and online counts on a Discord listing are Discord's own approximate figures, read through the server's invite link at verification and refreshed on a daily sweep, so the seller cannot type them. What that read cannot see is message volume, channel count or role structure, which stay seller-stated. PlayerSells does not sell members or boosts; a server with bought members is worth less, not more.
Server boosts belong to the members who paid for them through Nitro, not to the server, so a boost level can fall when those members leave after a change of owner. Perks tied to the level, such as a custom vanity URL at level three, go with it. Price a boost level as something the current community provides, not as a permanent feature of the server.
Buying a Discord server through PlayerSells escrow is safe against the seller, because payment is held until Discord shows your account as owner and you have reviewed the administrator roles. Discord's terms prohibit selling accounts and let Discord act against servers that break its rules, so escrow protects the transaction between you and the seller rather than against Discord enforcing its own terms.
