About
The educational videos in this channel (complete list: https://bit.ly/2YRk5yD) are interconnected with the E-Learning units on the Virtual Linguistics and Literature Campus (https://oer-vlc.de) , the E-Learning platform for linguistics hosted by Prof. Handke's award winning Linguistic Engineering Team of Marburg University, Germany, but can also be used as stand-alone instructional videos. The early videos were produced in a classroom-setting, since 2015, we have applied an office-setting using an ActivBoard or a green screen and Camtasia Studio. And our presentation strategy? It is essential for us that in E-Lectures you always see your lecturer. Instead of reading off without being visible and presenting our content in a sterile way, we can be watched while lecturing - with all our mistakes and weaknesses - but that's the human factor, isn't it? The Micro-Lectures, by contrast, due to their brevity and conciseness do not involve a talking head.
