A typical post picks up 27 interactions against 105K followers, an engagement rate of 0.026%. Measured over 11 original posts, its engagement rate beats 29% of 19,933 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 1.9K times each, and 1.43% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.79% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 11 posts sampled, 45% carry an image or video and 9% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.7K interactions, about 138x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #eastofeden, #justsaying.

Compared with accounts its own size

Yinka Ogunnubi's engagement rate beats 29% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (19,933 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 51% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.026%, Yinka Ogunnubi sits above the 25th percentile of the 201,005 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.141%.

This account posts most often around 10:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 9% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 344 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

What makes you a legend is not because of what you say of yourself, it's really because of what others say of you. Messi in his long career was crowned King by fans all over the world. He never compared himself to others. Never threw a tantrum. He just let his performance on the pitch do the talking and boy did it talk. It was a privilege to be alive to watch him play. 🐐 https://t.co/UdaVyG4Llo

It has come to light through an auditor's report that the IGR generated in Ogun State, only funds 2% of it's total expenditure, meaning that 98% funding still comes from Abuja. We follow the money and discover apparently intentional leaks. Does this explain why agberos and other street touts are left to prey on road users without government intervention? Local Government IGR - The Leaking Purse. In 2025, the 20 LG in Ogun State generated ₦2.1 billion internally. That's a 27% jump from 2024. On paper, it was an improvement. But set against the total LG expenditure of ₦96 billion, it covers just over 2% - 2%. Meaning 98% of everything spent by LG in Ogun State still comes from Abuja. Is it that the State LGs lack the capacity to generate IGR? Clearly that can't be the case because Ogun State is one of only eight in the country generating enough IGR to cover its wage bill. So the capacity to raise money locally clearly exists in the State. The failure is concentrated, specifically, at the LG level. Why is this the case? The Auditor-General's report gives us the answer. According to the report, the reasons for the low IGR levels is down to; 1. Revenue collectors who don't remit what they collect. 2. No follow through on detected defaults even when the auditor general flags it. 3. Unauthorized illegal persons engaged as "revenue contractors" who do not remit revenue collected. Many are politically connected with no due process followed in their engagement. 4. Contracts terminated from revenue collectors without recovery of the revenue collected. 5. Deliberate poor record keeping to make it harder to track fraud. 6. Chairmen, Treasurers, and Internal Auditors who simply failed to supervise. These revenue leaks are not limited to Ogun State, it’s a reflection of virtually all LG in Nigeria. At the core of the issue is a governance problem and not just a revenue one. Reading these numbers

What is Yinka Ogunnubi's engagement rate on X?
Yinka Ogunnubi (@yinkanubi) has an engagement rate of 0.026%, based on the median interactions across 11 original posts from the last 30 days against 104,988 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.026%, Yinka Ogunnubi sits above the 25th percentile of the 201,005 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @yinkanubi have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 29% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (19,933 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @yinkanubi post?
Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.4 posts per day across the measured window.
