A typical post picks up 288 interactions against 179K followers, an engagement rate of 0.161%. Measured over 47 original posts, its engagement rate beats 68% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 7.5K times each, and 3.82% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.20% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 40% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 47 posts sampled, 83% carry an image or video and 6% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 2.3K interactions, about 7.9x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #fridaymarketday, #gulucitymarathon, #journalismug.

Compared with accounts its own size

Amos Wekesa's engagement rate beats 68% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 81% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.161%, Amos Wekesa sits above the 50th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.678%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 205,152 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,894 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 07:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 4% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 450 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

TOORO / KING OYO MUSEUM When things settle down in Tooro kingdom, the meeting I will happily want to be part of is setting up a MESUEM. TOORO has very many wealthy people and same TOORO has a very rich history and yes, King OYO created massive content in 34 years. It’s should be a very quality MUSEUM something like Kigali genocide MUSEUM with a combination of artifacts, Videos and pictures. 50% of it should be about the life of KING OYO because he has created content people can spend hours either watching or reading or just seeing. Locals can pay ushs 20k and none Ugandans can pay usd 30 per person and then make it a numbers game. But needs a private sector mindset fully. That should include information center about TOOROs attractions, service providers like guides, accommodation facilities etc. a world class cafe is a must. Kasese and Fortportal are transit points for tourists moving from the northern circuit to the southern one. With this massive focus on the RWENZORI RANGES, nothing is impossible. If it’s only for KING OYO MUSEUM that can be done in KAMPALA and the reason is basic, numbers plus will create curiosity about TOORO KINGDOM and that could mean more numbers to TOORO LAND.

Last evening, I accompanied my dear wife, Anita Rukundo, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she presented her Letters of Credence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Amb. Adonia Ayebare, as the Honorary Consul of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Uganda. She spoke about the importance of strengthening Uganda-Bahamas relations, particularly by tapping into The Bahamas’ expertise in tourism to grow Uganda’s tourism sector. She noted that The Bahamas attracted more than 12.5 million tourists in 2025, earning over US$5.27 billion, compared to Uganda’s tourism earnings of about US$1.6 billion. She underscored the need for Uganda to learn from and partner with The Bahamas. Her priorities include promoting joint marketing, tourism exchanges, and partnerships among travel agencies, hotels, airlines, tour operators and tourism authorities. I know her potential and that's why she took on this critical voluntary task where she must devote her time and resources. Congratulations, Anita! Many thanks @CeasorMulenga and @wekesa_amos for joining us.

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 288 interactions against 179K followers, an engagement rate of 0.161%. Measured over 47 original posts, its engagement rate beats 68% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 7.5K times each, and 3.82% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.20% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. What is Amos Wekesa's engagement rate on X?
Amos Wekesa (@wekesa_amos) has an engagement rate of 0.161%, based on the median interactions across 47 original posts from the last 30 days against 179,318 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.161%, Amos Wekesa sits above the 50th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @wekesa_amos have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 68% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @wekesa_amos post?
Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.5 posts per day across the measured window.
