Also, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he routinely scoffed Muslims with a Tum Paanch, Tumhare Pacchis jibe. Hey @MumbaiPolice , on what grounds was the Stella Bossi gig shutdown at Antisocial yesterday? This is an indoor gig. The venue has all the licenses. There are no sound complaints and the gig was scheduled to end at 9:30pm According to the DJ, cops shut it down because techno music "attracts bad things" By that logic will you shut down religious processions that attract all sorts of criminal elements? Not sure what organizations like @NRAI_India are doing when their members are being harassed like this Cops in India behave like they are above the law and in this case they are behaving like the Taliban religious police...

Sad to share that @payalmehta100 is no more. On a visit to Mumbai she developed uneasiness. Around 2 am she was taken to the hospital. Before any treatment could be administered her pulse went silent. Yesterday by mistake I had dialled her number at 10.49 pm. She responded immediately saying ‘no problem.’ In less than 4 hours of my call to her she has died. Once more, it’s shocking to see how unpredictable is our life. Payal was an exceptionally hardworking journalist. She was a warm friend who was ever ready to help. Deepest condolences to her family and friends.

The female victim who alleged molestation by an ACP along with 17 others who were demanding registration of an FIR, were detained this morning. She has told me that the detainees were assaulted by the police. Two of those detained were allegedly brutally beaten. This is @DelhiPolice. To protect their own, the police are now allegedly beating up the victim and those demanding action against the accused. Instead of protecting the victim and registering an FIR, why are those demanding justice being detained and assaulted? Shame on you Delhi police, release all of them immediately. They are currently detained in Delhi Cantt police station.
