A typical post picks up 20 interactions against 116K followers, an engagement rate of 0.018%. Measured over 26 original posts, its engagement rate beats 26% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 2.8K times each, and 0.74% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.38% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 57% of days. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 26 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 46% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.4K interactions, about 70x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #amazingkideche, #chinonsoeche, #echechinonso.

Compared with accounts its own size

Valentine Ozigbo's engagement rate beats 26% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 34% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.018%, Valentine Ozigbo sits above the 10th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 46% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
  • Its average post runs 1442 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

My remaining in the APC should not be mistaken for aligning myself with the government in power. I do see greater possibilities for constructive engagement from within, and remaining in the party preserves the opportunity for that engagement. At the same time, I am yet to see a credible alternative that persuades me to take a different political path. But neither party membership nor access to government can become an end in itself. For me, there is a clear condition for becoming truly part of any government: I must retain the freedom to remain truthful to my conscience and to subordinate every political allegiance to God first. If that space does not exist, I would rather simply remain where I am - in the APC, but not of the APC. Watch the full interview here: https://t.co/WNs9mXQE0e

I am glad to finally share this excerpt from a recent interview, partly because it lets me respond to a question that has appeared repeatedly on my timelines: Why haven't I been more visibly active in the current political cycle? But my answer points to something larger than me. Over time, I have become increasingly concerned by how quickly we judge one another, especially in politics. We judge by appearances, by what we have heard, by the camp someone belongs to, or by conclusions we formed long before we knew the whole story. I could simply correct the assumptions made about me and move on. But that would miss the more important lesson. So I want to suggest a private exercise, particularly for those of us deeply engaged in politics. You may have heard me say that, ultimately, there are only two sides: Light and Darkness. Take the political party, movement, or tendency you identify with. Privately, make two lists. Put on one side those you believe represent Light, and on the other those you believe represent Darkness. Then ask yourself one uncomfortable question: How do I really know? That question changes everything. We see conduct. We hear speeches. We observe alliances and public choices. These things matter, and we must exercise discernment. But we do not see the human heart. Scripture itself warns of people who see without perceiving and hear without understanding (Mark 4:12). That is why discernment must never become self-righteousness. If we claim to belong to the Light, our first responsibility is not to become better prosecutors of everybody else. It is to submit ourselves more completely to the Spirit of Truth, to examine our own motives, test what comes before us, reject evil, and hold firmly to what is good. Another danger is believing we can live indefinitely somewhere between Light and Darkness, changing sides according to tribe, friendship, political convenience, personal advantage, or the demands of the moment. Jesus Christ leaves us with a much harder standard: ā€œWhoever is not with me is against me.ā€ (Matthew 12:30) I increasingly believe we are living in spiritually consequential times, the End Times, as defined by Biblical prophecies. That makes careless judgment dangerous, but it also makes complacency dangerous. This is a season for repentance, discernment, courage, and deeper alignment with God. So before asking where another politician stands, where another party stands, or even where another movement stands, perhaps the more searching question is: Where do I stand, and what in the way I live proves it? Truth does not bend itself around our politics, our friendships, our ambitions, or our preferences. We must align ourselves with Truth. Watch the full interview here: https://t.co/WNs9mXQE0e

Several times, I've been asked if I have left politics. The plain answer is No. I have not abandoned politics. But my purpose in politics goes beyond party affiliation: it is about changing the mindset of the individuals who make up both the leadership and followership of our country. In this excerpt from a recent interview, I address the question squarely, and also discuss why we must work on the individuals that make up society - you and me. Discernment must never become self-righteousness. If we claim to belong to the Light, our first responsibility is not to become better prosecutors of everybody else. It is to submit ourselves to the Spirit of Truth, examine our own motives, and hold firmly to what is good. So before asking where another politician or party stands, perhaps the more searching question is: Where do I stand, and what in the way I live proves it? Truth does not bend itself around our politics, friendships, or ambitions. It is simply true. Watch the full interview here: https://t.co/WNs9mXQE0e

Sometimes, we judge one another too quickly, especially in politics. We judge by appearances, by what we have heard, by the camp someone belongs to, or by conclusions formed long before we knew the whole story. So how would I like to be judged? Not by my silence or my associations, but by whether the way I live matches the Truth I say I stand for, and only once the whole story is known. I always hold myself to the same standards. Conduct and public choices matter, and we must exercise discernment. But we should also retain the humility to recognise that we do not know another person's heart, motives or complete story. Truth does not bend around our politics, friendships or ambitions, and we must align ourselves with it. Watch the full interview here: https://t.co/WNs9mXQE0e

This weekend, I joined dignitaries, family and friends in Rivers State to celebrate the life of Dame Ezinne Mary Orduah Amaechi, beloved mother of the former Governor of Rivers State and former Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, as she was laid to rest. Dame Amaechi lived a life marked by faith, grace, strength and devotion to family. Hers was the kind of quiet but enduring influence that continues to speak through the lives of those she raised, served and inspired. My heartfelt condolences go to the entire Amaechi family, and especially to my senior brother and friend, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, at this difficult time. May they find strength in the beautiful memories she leaves behind and consolation in the knowledge that a life lived in faith does not end, but returns to its Creator. May the gentle soul of Dame Ezinne Mary Orduah Amaechi rest in perfect peace, and may God grant her family the grace and fortitude to bear her passing. VCO

Recently, I attended Convocation 2026, hosted by Apostle Michael Orokpo and Encounter Jesus Ministries International, and one of my greatest moments was listening to Apostle Michael preach on our calling and identity as sons, priests, kings and witnesses of God. There was something about this particular portion of his closing message that stayed with me. I have listened to it repeatedly since then, and each time I am struck afresh by its depth, clarity and spiritual weight. Some messages are not merely to be heard. They are to be received, contemplated and lived. I felt this excerpt was too important not to share. May the Lord continue to enlarge Apostle Michael Orokpo, preserve him, and use him mightily for His purposes in this generation. Listen prayerfully. There is a lot packed into these few minutes. Truth must never become negotiable. In this excerpt from my recent interview, I spoke about why truth must be guarded by all means. A society that gets careless with the truth soon loses its ability to build trust, make sound decisions and hold power to account. Truth is the foundation that leadership, institutions and communities stand on. When it is bent for convenience or silenced out of fear, everything built on top of it weakens. Protecting it is not the job of a few. It is the duty of every one of us. Our responsibility is not to bend truth to suit our interests, but to have the courage to align ourselves with it. Yesterday, I had the privilege of engaging over 100 professionals in Abuja in a deeper conversation on Nigeria 2030: Beyond Politics, National Renewal and Responsibility. My central message was clear: We must restructure the Nigerian even as we examine how to restructure Nigeria. Character needs structure, and structure needs character. We must move beyond political personalities, confront our individual responsibilities, discern the extraordinary times in which we live and begin preparing seriously for 2030. An interesting moment came when a participant questioned the relevance of God to nation-building, citing countries that have developed without our level of religiosity. I appreciated his intervention because I once held a similar view. My spiritual journey has since convinced me that excluding God from our affairs is precisely what the prince of this world desires. The paradox of Nigeria being deeply religious yet profoundly dysfunctional often leads us to the wrong conclusion. Our problem is not too much God. It is too much religion without genuine alignment with God. We pray against corruption while practising it. We preach love while promoting division. We profess faith without demonstrating righteousness. God is not a substitute for competent leadership, strong institutions or hard work. Genuine alignment with Him should produce precisely these things, alongside integrity, justice, accountability and service. As Proverbs 14:34 reminds us, righteousness exalts a nation. And James 2:17 teaches that faith without works is dead. We must stop majoring on the minor while neglecting the major: TRUTH, DISCERNMENT, ALIGNMENT, COURAGE, OBEDIENCE AND UNITY. My sincere appreciation to my co-convener, Engr. Isaac Balami, and to our organising team, Uzoamaka Ugochukwu, Mazi Valentine Orji, and the leadership of Altitude Aviation Lounge, Maitama, Abuja, for their excellent work in putting together this important gathering. To everyone who asked how to participate in this and subsequent conversations, I warmly invite you to join us through The Valiant Movement: https://t.co/7gsHSP3S0Q COURAGE. CHARACTER. Join me in celebrating my darling wife on her birthday today. Happy birthday to my darling wife and my best earthly friend. Today, I celebrate the discerning woman you are, the caring mother you have always been, and the loving wife and companion you are to me. I thank God sincerely for bringing you into my life and for the grace to walk this journey together, growing stronger, wiser, and closer with the years. As you begin another year, may God renew His anointing upon your life, refresh you with His blessings, order your steps, and draw you even closer to Him in this unique season as we await the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. What is Valentine Ozigbo's engagement rate on X?
Valentine Ozigbo (@valentineozigbo) has an engagement rate of 0.018%, based on the median interactions across 26 original posts from the last 30 days against 116,447 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.018%, Valentine Ozigbo sits above the 10th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @valentineozigbo have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 26% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @valentineozigbo post?
Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 1 posts per day across the measured window.
