A dos años de la victoria popular del 28J, seguimos eternamente agradecidos con todos los que hicieron posible la elección de @EdmundoGU como presidente de Venezuela, junto al liderazgo de @MariaCorinaYA, todos los miembros de la Plataforma Unitaria y millones de venezolanos unidos, no solo para votar, sino para luchar y defender ese derecho. Hoy más que nunca seguimos en unidad por la libertad y la democracia de nuestro país.

Nuestra Venezuela atraviesa uno de los momentos más difíciles de su historia. La tragedia que ha enlutado al país exige el esfuerzo, la solidaridad y el compromiso de todos los venezolanos para avanzar en su reconstrucción. Ese desafío solo podrá afrontarse con el concurso de todos, sin exclusiones ni persecución. Desde la Plataforma Unitaria Democrática reafirmamos que María Corina Machado @MariaCorinaYA , como cualquier venezolano, tiene el derecho de regresar a su país para contribuir a esa tarea. Ella misma ha manifestado su disposición a conversar con todos los actores que sea necesario para ayudar a Venezuela a superar esta tragedia y avanzar en su reconstrucción. Este no es momento para el revanchismo ni para profundizar las divisiones, sino para poner a Venezuela por encima de cualquier diferencia. En consecuencia, no debe existir ningún impedimento para que los venezolanos puedan aportar al país desde la libertad y el pleno ejercicio de sus derechos. Reiteramos, asimismo, la necesidad de que todos los presos políticos recuperen su libertad, para que Venezuela pueda contar con el concurso de todos en esta hora tan difícil.

A una semana del anuncio hecho por el régimen interino, de nuevas liberaciones, hasta el momento solo hemos podido verificar 105 excarcelados. Por ello, exigimos una vez más procesos de liberación masivos, permanentes, expeditos, públicos y transparentes que garanticen la libertad de todos los presos políticos. Para lograr la libertad de todos, solo se necesita voluntad política. Nada justifica que aún permanezcan mas de 460 inocentes tras las rejas, mientras la angustia y el dolor de los familiares de quienes aún permanecen privados de libertad siguen aumentando. Ese proceso debe conducir a un cronograma para la elección presidencial con un CNE confiable, a la reconstrucción de las instituciones y del Poder Judicial, a la libertad de los presos políticos, al regreso de los exiliados, a la restitución de los partidos políticos y al cese de la persecución por pensar distinto.
