Wakil Rektor I Unsoed, Noor Farid, mengaku deg-degan saat menerima surat panggilan pemeriksaan KPK terkait kasus dugaan pemerasan dan gratifikasi penerimaan mahasiswa baru jalur mandiri. "Kita tidak tahu apa-apa terus tiba-tiba ada surat," ujarnya, Sabtu (22/8/2026). Farid menjelaskan pemeriksaan berfokus pada mekanisme seleksi jalur mandiri dan kriteria kelulusan calon mahasiswa. Ia dipanggil mendadak usai meresmikan lokakarya dosen Bahasa Indonesia. KPK membagi perkara ini dalam tiga klaster, seluruhnya bermuara pada instruksi Rektor Akhmad Sodiq. Klaster pertama, Wakil Rektor III Norman Arie Prayoga meminta Rp650 juta dari orang tua calon mahasiswa. Klaster kedua, Sodiq memerintahkan keponakannya Mulyono mengepul Rp680 juta untuk membeli tanah. Klaster ketiga, Kabag Akademik Eko Sumanto menawar tarif mahar hingga meraup Rp1,12 miliar. Plt Direktur Penyidikan KPK Achmad Taufik Husein menyebut praktik jual beli kursi mahasiswa baru juga merambah Fakultas Perikanan dan Hukum. Dari kuota 245 mahasiswa jalur mandiri, 73 kursi disetting untuk transaksi uang. Mendagri Tito Karnavian menanggapi isu pengusaha Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad alias Haji Isam disebut memimpin pemadaman karhutla di Kalimantan. Tito menegaskan belum ada kepastian penunjukan khusus Haji Isam. Ia menekankan pencegahan titik api baru melalui Inmendagri Nomor 1 Tahun 2026 yang melarang pembukaan lahan dengan cara dibakar tanpa pengecualian, termasuk adat. Strategi utama pemerintah adalah memadamkan titik api yang sudah ada dan melokalisasi dengan kekuatan lintas instansi, mulai dari Polri, TNI, BNPB, Basarnas, hingga kementerian terkait. Sidang praperadilan keempat Dokter Tifa terkait penghentian penuntutan kasus ijazah Jokowi digelar di PN Jakarta Selatan, Rabu (19/8/2026). Ia menilai pihak kejaksaan selaku termohon bersikap keras kepala. "Termohon tampaknya koppig, keras kepala," ujarnya seusai sidang. Dokter Tifa menyoroti sikap jaksa yang mengabaikan putusan sela PN Jakarta Timur pada 23 Juli 2026, di mana dakwaan JPU dinyatakan batal demi hukum karena mencampurkan KUHP lama dan baru. Menurutnya, jaksa seharusnya menempuh banding sesuai Pasal 206, bukan langsung memperbaiki dakwaan. Ia menilai simpulan jaksa hanya mendasarkan pada tahapan P21, seolah sidang di PN Jaktim tidak pernah terjadi. "Sidang empat kali dengan biaya besar dianggap tidak ada, amar putusan juga dianggap tidak ada," tegasnya. Dokter Tifa menekankan pentingnya menghormati prosedur hukum dalam KUHAP dan KUHP. Ia mengaku selalu patuh sejak berstatus saksi hingga terdakwa, termasuk wajib lapor berkali-kali. Alasan dirinya mengajukan gugatan praperadilan adalah demi tegaknya hukum. "Dakwaan saya batal demi hukum, tetapi JPU terus melanjutkan sidang pokok perkara," ujarnya.
