“Sudden And Unexpected” engagement report
@toobaffled - 406K followers on X
Measured over 50 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 540 interactions against 406K followers, an engagement rate of 0.133%. Measured over 50 original posts, its engagement rate beats 72% of 3,899 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 11K times each, and 4.78% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.78% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 17% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 11:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 50 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video, 10% are part of a thread and 30% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 8.9K interactions, about 17x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
“Sudden And Unexpected”'s engagement rate beats 72% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 90% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.133%, “Sudden And Unexpected” sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,856 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.081% to 0.439%.

This account posts most often around 11:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

New York’s Amish community is issuing an ultimatum to state bureaucrats: leave us alone or we’re packing up our buggies for greener pastures. The threat has been sparked by a vaccine mandate fight that the 25,000 strong religious community is taking all the way to the Supreme Court. It takes place as state Health Department officials continue to slap thousands in fines on tiny, one-room parochial Amish schools which have refused to comply with a Cuomo-era vaccine decree. https://t.co/5dqdmhEHRM

““You don’t vaccinate..?” No. But I did. At one point, I was pushed and bullied by my child’s doctor to vaccinate my first baby. I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong by going against my gut. I vaccinated until 15 months old & that was the last time. She received the MMR vaccine. I was told a mild fever would be the side effect and to treat with Tylenol. 4 hours later, my bright eyed, perfect baby was never the same. I woke up to a pool of her sweat & her seizing then went unresponsive. I rushed her to the ER. She was awake, scared and crying a cry I’ve never heard before. The ER asked if she had any vaccines. When I told them about the MMR, the doctor told me never to vaccinate her again. She had a reaction. My perfect baby within the next few months showed signs of difficulty. Noise making, toe walking, flapping hands, squeaking, sensitive to noises, getting over stimulated. Signs we all know of what that points too. So I knew, as a mother, that I went against my gut and it hurt my baby. My baby, is a vaccine injured baby and it’s my fault. I have had 4 other babies after her. All of them unvaccinated. No toe walking, hand flapping, sensitivities, noise making. “Normal kids.” I took that, unknowingly from my first born. & I was always hesitant to speak out and share what happened to her because I have been called a liar. You don’t have to believe me. But I know I am not alone in this. Please listen to your gut. Don’t let them bully you. Your kid is the one who pays the price.” - Alexandria Roy - https://t.co/VrQmw01Qzx ❤️🩹

8.4 million in Korea. Almost 300,000 in Italy. Higher cancer diagnoses after the shot in several major types. They mandated it. They silenced people for asking. Now the observational data is messy and they want you to move on. I’m not moving on. ‼️ https://t.co/xBMpjn1FdA https://t.co/7SXTQ5bNu1 https://t.co/vC37Vzu3kQ

Maine’s medical board ordered Dr. Meryl Nass to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after she prescribed ivermectin and refused to follow the COVID script. The judge’s finding: they had no evidence she was mentally unfit. No process. No justification. They treated her opinions as if they were a mental illness. They suspended her. They tried to brand her unstable. They tried to make an example of a doctor who wouldn’t fall in line. This ruling doesn’t undo everything they did to her. It does something more important: it says the psych-eval stunt was out of bounds. If they can send a doctor for a forced mental exam because she asked the wrong questions, they can do it to any physician who puts patients ahead of the narrative. They didn’t silence her. They just got caught.

ADD-ADHD, ASD DX. If I could turn back time...... Drew will be 25 this year. I'll admit It's been rough watching his peers, play sports, have relationships, have friends, go to dances, get drivers licenses, not be invited to birthday parties, or events. Feeling super emotional. PSS.. Vaccinations can and do CAUSE AUTISM in some children. Please educate before you Vaccinate. VACCINATION DOES NOT EQUAL IMMUNIZATION!” - Jen Largent-Farnam -

- What is “Sudden And Unexpected”'s engagement rate on X?
- “Sudden And Unexpected” (@toobaffled) has an engagement rate of 0.133%, based on the median interactions across 50 original posts from the last 30 days against 406,274 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.133%, “Sudden And Unexpected” sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,856 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @toobaffled have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 72% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @toobaffled post?
- Most posts go out around 11:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.83 posts per day across the measured window.
