Early reading. We have captured 2 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 1.3K interactions against 1.0M followers, an engagement rate of 0.126%. Posts are seen about 42K times each, and 3.13% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.02% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.07 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 7% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 19:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 2 posts sampled, 50% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 18K interactions, about 14x its own typical post. Only 2 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 37,071 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 105,527 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 19:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

True when I said it, true today. “Canada is, and always has been, our country. And we want Canada to be a True North that is as strong and as free as it can be in every way that matters: the best country in the world. That’s why we’re here, that’s why we strive, that’s why we serve. Canada must reflect the true character of the Canadian people: honourable in our dealings, faithful to our commitments, loyal to our friends. By turns, a courageous warrior and a compassionate neighbour. It is our purpose that Canada must be great, it must be great for all Canadians, it must be a country of hope and an example to the world. And only when it is these things, when Canada is all that it can be, only then can we say that our work is done.”

Ending the repressive dictatorship in Tehran and halting its nuclear ambitions once and for all would be a monumental step towards regional stability. It also offers hope of a better life for the long-suffering people of Iran who have waited two generations for this moment. Let us hope they may soon embark upon a new chapter in the history of their country, one defined by freedom, justice and peace. The world owes a great debt to all those who put themselves into harm’s way for global peace and security.

I sincerely hope that mine is just one of many portraits of Prime Ministers from both parties that will continue to be hung in the Parliament of Canada for decades and centuries to come […] but that will require that in these perilous times both parties whatever their differences, come together to preserve the independence and unity of this blessed land.

Yesterday’s federal election was the 45th in the proud history of Canada’s democracy.    I want to extend my sincere congratulations to Prime Minister Carney on the results his party achieved. I wish him, and the government he will lead, success as they navigate our country forward during these challenging times. I also want to congratulate Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party of Canada on making significant gains, both in seats and popular vote, and bringing an entire new generation of Canadians to the Conservative Party.   To all candidates, campaign volunteers and election workers who participated in this election: thank you for your contribution to our democratic process, one that so many brave Canadians have sacrificed so much to defend. Their legacy is the proud and independent country we must always serve and protect. The True North, Strong and Free.

On  June 15, 2012 I stood with Michigan Governor Rick Snyder to announce our agreement to build a new international crossing between Windsor and Detroit. In May 2015, the Governor and I together announced the bridge would be named in honour of Gordie Howe, a great Canadian hockey hero who led the Detroit Red Wings to four Stanley Cups and inspired a generation of young Canadians and Americans.  Today, despite challenges and delays, I am proud to see the Gordie Howe International Bridge officially opened. May it long continue Gordie Howe’s legacy of connecting our two great countries, fuelling growth and opportunity for decades to come.

Congratulations to my friend Prime Minister @NarendraModi on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history. First elected as Prime Minister in 2014, re-elected in 2019 and 2024, PM Modi continues to deliver strong leadership that has secured India’s place in the world. Laureen and I wish PM Modi continued health and success in the months and years ahead.
