Searchlight Pictures engagement report
@searchlightpics - 990K followers on X
Measured over 29 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 17, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 58 interactions against 990K followers, an engagement rate of 0.006%. Measured over 29 original posts, its engagement rate beats 27% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 6.6K times each, and 0.876% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.668% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 40% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 29 posts sampled, 97% carry an image or video and 48% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 181K interactions, about 3116x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #wildhorsenine, #behemoth, #lff.

Compared with accounts its own size
Searchlight Pictures's engagement rate beats 27% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 44% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.006%, Searchlight Pictures sits above the 10th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 97% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 48% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 97% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 48% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 303 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Pedro Pascal has never been better in his entire life than in Behemoth! (🌟🌟🌟🌟). Wow. Just wow. What I just witnessed from Pascal was stunning - I barely have the words. And this is coming from a guy who’s thrown so much criticism at Pascal in the past 2 years. I’ve taken Pascal to task more than anyone. I literally said Pascal was being over-exposed. But look at me now. Look at me eat shit. I have no other choice because I can’t believe what I just witnessed from Pedro. A mature, nuanced, career-defining performance from a man whose career is still growing before our very eyes. Written and directed by Tony Gilroy, a man I adore infinitely, Behemoth! is one of the best films of 2026. Those of you who’ve followed me long enough know by now that I am a violinist of 25 years. I first-chaired at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, was recruited to play at USC, and played in the San Francisco Civic Symphony when I lived in SF. All of which is to say I get extremely territorial when it comes to films about classical music & the fight those musicians go through on a daily basis just to survive. When done wrong, nothing offends me more. When done right? Nothing hits me harder. This is a film that unquestionably does it right. And here’s why. Behemoth! is a difficult movie to summarize in a few sentences, because, as the film’s tagline reads, this is a story about a man’s life in pieces. Pascal plays gifted cellist Alex Serian, a man whose life we follow across multiple timelines. The entire idea here is that while Serian is defined by his amazing talent as a cellist, the generations of musicians in his family that came before him & his complicated ever-changing love life have all left him at an inexplicable place in the world. The whole idea here is we follow Serian through the ups & downs of…life. That’s really it. There isn’t a march towards some massive final act. There isn’t a crescendo to a big showdown. This is literally following the life and times of a man who is lost. And in that sense, the biggest compliment I can give this film is it feels like it’s out of the ‘70s. Tony Gilroy wrote and directed this film. I can’t understate how important that fact is because Gilroy is both a creative genius and a student of Cinema. The same man who wrote multiple episodes of Andor & Michael Clayton, had Gilroy never picked up a pen or camera again in his life, his impact on me would still last forever. But with Behemoth!, it’s clear that Gilroy wanted to make a piece of throwback Cinema - a story that guides us from one chapter of a man’s life to the next. The destination is irrelevant. This is just such a human story. It’s so impossibly real. All of that is because of Gilroy’s writing. But then there’s Gilroy’s direction. Dear mother of god. This man directed the absolute shit out of this movie. The shots of Los Angeles are breathtaking. The editing was superb. But nothing compares to the sound - the sound in this movie, whether it be just Pascal moving on with his life in Los Angeles or the actual performances, the music itself, the quartets - the symphonies - are all fucking breathtaking and all done well. Gilroy’s direction honors the arts. He pays respect to the classical musicians who give their fucking lives to do this on a daily basis. My love for Gilroy skyrocketed after this film & I didn’t think that was possible. I just can’t believe Gilroy’s direction surpassed his writing…

- What is Searchlight Pictures's engagement rate on X?
- Searchlight Pictures (@searchlightpics) has an engagement rate of 0.006%, based on the median interactions across 29 original posts from the last 30 days against 990,348 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.006%, Searchlight Pictures sits above the 10th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @searchlightpics have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 27% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @searchlightpics post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.07 posts per day across the measured window.
