Saketh R engagement report
@saketh1998 - 93K followers on X
Measured over 31 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 26, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 244 interactions against 93K followers, an engagement rate of 0.264%. Measured over 31 original posts, its engagement rate beats 67% of 6,874 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 29K times each, and 0.849% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 31.0% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 60% of days. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 31 posts sampled, 35% carry an image or video and 10% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.4K interactions, about 5.6x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #caskiawaaz, #cas_scam, #delinkcas.

Compared with accounts its own size
Saketh R's engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (6,874 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 6 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 38% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.264%, Saketh R sits above the 50th percentile of the 66,258 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.1% to 0.499%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 35% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 10% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 35% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 10% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 663 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I would strongly suggest avoiding booking flights through platforms like @makemytrip whenever possible. Book directly with the airline instead. I had booked my tickets Months back for my travel in June to Munich. 10 days before the departure, the airline cancelled my booking. I applied for the refund on 21st May, the same day the flight was cancelled. @makemytrip initially showed an expected refund date of 31st May (later I was told it could take up to 28 days). It has now been around 40 days, and I still haven't received my refund. When I contact Kuwait Airways, they tell me the booking was made through MakeMyTrip, so any refund request has to come from them. When I contact MakeMyTrip, they tell me Kuwait Airways hasn't released the refund. You're basically stuck in an endless loop, with each side asking you to speak to the other, while your money remains blocked. Over the last 40 days, I've contacted @makemytrip at least 4–5 times. Every single time, I'm told the issue has been "escalated." After multiple escalations, there has still been no resolution. Despite assurances that the refund would be processed by the end of June, I'm now being told they still haven't received the money from the airline. This experience has convinced me that for international travel, it's always better to book directly with the airline. If something goes wrong, cancellations and refunds are usually much simpler because you're dealing with the airline directly instead of being caught between two companies. @KuwaitAirways @makemytrip @makemytripcare @DGCAIndia @airsewa_MoCA @jagograhakjago

I genuinely still don’t understand how this system works, so I have a question. Assume two large institutions. One places a huge buy order for a thousand crore on Reliance at 10% higher during the 15 minute auction period, and another places an equally large sell order at the same price. If both orders match, Reliance closes 10% higher. Now assume both institutions have already loaded up aggressively on call options worth thousands of crores on expiry day. The jump in Reliance and the index could give them multiplied returns on those calls, while the loss on the Reliance shares may be limited to around 10%. The next day, they could potentially repeat the same thing on the downside and offset the equity gain and loss, while still keeping the massive profits made in options. This is purely hypothetical, but does the system practically allow something like this to happen?

Today has been an absolute nightmare, probably one of the worst days we have faced in a while We were carrying directional positional strategies. The market closed around 0.6–0.7% higher yesterday. The market opened normally today, but IV exploded right from the morning, causing a massive loss in our Sensex positions. Even after the RBI policy announcement, the premiums did not cool down. From April last year until today more than 400 days, our maximum daily MTM swing from options trading had never crossed 0.7%. The overall drawdown from options was also below 2% for the entire period. But today alone, we lost close to 1.7% on our positional trades. I had initially considered avoiding expiry trades and continuing only with positional strategies. But after today, I don’t think even positional trading makes sense without understanding what has changed. For now, we are completely stopping all option trades until we get more clarity on how the market and option premiums are behaving. One important correction: the screenshot I shared does not show the actual extent of the options loss. The options loss was significantly higher. A large part of it was recovered through a few futures trades

Can anyone tell me why was CAS even needed in the first place? Markets have run decades together without any issues with the average closing rate.

Today, the total number of contracts traded on BSE fell by nearly half. I’ll attach the exact data below. Last Week: 50,36,78,948 This week: 25,55,98,003 So, the new closing mechanism has clearly hit overall trading volumes. However, BSE’s premium turnover remained more or less similar to other expiry days of around ₹50,000 crore because option premiums stayed elevated at around ₹500–₹600 until the end of the session. But this is only the beginning. As more traders understand the additional risk involved, participation will certainly reduce. Even if expiry-day volumes remain relatively stable because of elevated premiums, I am almost certain that volumes on non expiry days will begin falling. Eventually, both exchanges could see a massive hit in overall derivatives volumes.

I genuinely feel traders should consider staying away from Nifty expiry day trading for some time. With NSE preparing for its IPO, If volumes start drying up, exchanges will have a much stronger incentive to take traders and brokers concerns seriously and push it to SEBI. Because right now, the entire ecosystem seems to be getting hurt traders, brokers and exchanges themselves. I don’t really see who is benefiting from this. From what I understand, in just the last 2–3 days, many brokers have already seen around a 15–20% drop in order volume, and I feel this could get worse as more traders realise they simply don’t know what to trade anymore. The bigger problem is that the way options are behaving has changed completely. Strategy builders target lines are built on certain assumptions about how option premiums behave. If those relationships become unpredictable, a lot of these tools become far less useful. Nobody really knows what strategy to run, what risk to take, or how premiums will behave into the close. Because at the end of the day, if traders, brokers and exchanges are all getting hurt, something in the mechanism clearly needs to be reviewed.

- What is Saketh R's engagement rate on X?
- Saketh R (@saketh1998) has an engagement rate of 0.264%, based on the median interactions across 31 original posts from the last 30 days against 92,648 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.264%, Saketh R sits above the 50th percentile of the 66,258 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @saketh1998 have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (6,874 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @saketh1998 post?
- Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.4 posts per day across the measured window.
