A typical post picks up 474 interactions against 576K followers, an engagement rate of 0.082%. Measured over 14 original posts, its engagement rate beats 67% of 3,758 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 33K times each, and 1.44% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.73% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 13% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 14 posts sampled, 71% carry an image or video and 21% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.2K interactions, about 6.8x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Seyed Mohammad Marandi's engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 62% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.082%, Seyed Mohammad Marandi sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.434%.

This account posts most often around 10:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

MFA Spokesperson on U.S. “economic D-Day” against #Iran: China is firmly against sanctions that have no basis in international law or UN Security Council mandate. Economic warfare and maximum pressure provide no solution. They only serve to fuel tensions, disrupt global economic and financial order, and hurt everyone else’s interests. Dialogue and negotiation is the only right way forward. China’s cooperation with Iran complies with international law. We are closely following the situation and will do everything necessary to protect China’s rights and interests.

Last week, I signed my name to a letter aimed at expressing solidarity with political prisoners in Iran. The plight of political prisoners across the region has always been a concern for me and is reflected in my earliest writings. I always oppose imperial wars and sanctions, as I have in the cases of Iraq, Iran, and elsewhere. I do not believe this opposition requires I stay silent about other injustices, especially carceral ones. This solidarity was the spirit of the letter and my signing it. Still, I recognize the asymmetries of power that the letter’s critics have pointed out, especially relevant in this moment of continued imperial aggression, and thus requested my name be removed.

What is Seyed Mohammad Marandi's engagement rate on X?
Seyed Mohammad Marandi (@s_m_marandi) has an engagement rate of 0.082%, based on the median interactions across 14 original posts from the last 30 days against 576,259 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.082%, Seyed Mohammad Marandi sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @s_m_marandi have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @s_m_marandi post?
Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.77 posts per day across the measured window.
