The classics still hit hard too, though. ‘Center Mass’ is cathatically thrilling, ‘Heavydirtysoul’ is fiery, and the riff that defines ‘Jumpsuit’ feels heavier than ever. Every song has a twist and turn, perfectly crafted to elicit the most euphoric and frenzied reaction. And from front to back, the smiles are endless, the tearducts are active, and the dreams are realised. As things come to a close with a timeless ‘Trees’, this masterclass, this new favourite show for so many, already feels a part of history. A beautifully fulfilling, wonderfully crafted and endlessly exciting showing from a duo who always have an extra trick up their sleeves. PVRIS, All Points East 2026 REVIEW: “I see some OGs out there,” Lynn Gunn smiles, looking out over the literal thousands gathered before her in the mid-afternoon sun. On the surface, this is a really nice thing to notice: that PVRIS fans have made sure to be in her eyeline during this treat of an appearance alongside Twenty One Pilots at All Points East. Though dig a little deeper, and it’s a pertinent sign of how deep the roots within this wondrous scene go, and how different fandoms will always find ways to cross over beautifully. With such a sentiment in mind, Lynn sets out to deliver a set that spans the whole of PVRIS’ story, from an atmospherically glossy ‘Ghosts’ to a spiky ‘Gimme A Minute’ and a grooving ‘Hallucinations’. Delivered with a gusto and gravitas that has always put the band a cut above the rest, you can also spot those littered throughout the crowd who are discovering their new passion in real time. Deftones, Outbreak Fest x All Points East 2026 REVIEW: The fact that the Deftones continue to be able to bridge new ground in the manner they are currently - this being their new biggest ever UK show, taking over from their last outdoor showing last Summer - is one thing. But it’s another to approach such occasions as unapologetically and in such an undeniable way as they do. Because the moment they stroll out onto the All Points East main stage and charge into a caustic ‘Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)’, it’s clear just how much fun life in camp is right now, and they are revelling in every second. Forever priding themselves on being a formidable live act, in their current form, they really are a completely different beast. ‘Swerve City’ pummels and chugs, ‘Rocket Skates’ rips and tears and a rare showing of ‘Xerces’ is as stratospheric as it comes. Every sweeping chord, every angelic croon, every spine-tingling refrain feels energised and ethereal, even in such vast and foreboding surroundings. And the reaction from those gathered is pure, reckless abandon. Bodies fly to and fro at the front, while those further back grip their loved ones and sway, sing, and smile in complete awe of what they are seeing. The full spectrum of the human experience. Thousands of emotions, thousands of stories and thousands of journeys to have all found each other here. In this moment, everyone is as one, and nothing outside of Victoria Park truly matters. By the time that ‘My Own Summer (Shove It)’ and ‘7 Words’ up the ante to violent levels and ‘Cherry Waves’ applies the ointment for any bruises that are forming, this is chalked up as one hell of a victory in Deftones’ continuously perfect pursuit. Ren, All Points East 2026 REVIEW: If it wasn’t clear before this all-timer of a set, Ren is an absolute phenomenon. The last few weeks have seen him make his way back on stage for the first time in three years, and that time away has allowed him to craft a show that is more than just music. It is theatre, therapy, community outreach, and emotional outpouring by the bucket load. And it feels like he has saved all of his most exuberant energy for All Points East. Every bar he spits is splattered with all of the hurt and heart that have inspired them, every guitar solo is dispatched with laser-pointed precision, and every shift in tone and sound is silky smooth. Matched with an animated visual that ebbs and weaves with the same ambition and expression as the songs that accompany them, his hour on stage is impossible to take your eyes off and even more impossible not to be deeply affected by. From a caustic ‘Sick Boi’ to a revealing ‘Arthur’s Tale’, a unifying take on The Verve’s ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ to a tear-stained run-through of ‘Chalk Outlines’ with collaborator Chinchilla coming out to croon with him, every base is covered and dispatched beautifully. It’s the sort of set that goes down in history. That people say they were there for it. A moment in time that feels like a summation of everything that has come before and a catalyst for everything that is still to come. It bears repeating.
