Snr. Cde. Robert Kabushenga engagement report
@rkabushenga - 438K followers on X
Measured over 12 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 30, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 208 interactions against 438K followers, an engagement rate of 0.048%. Measured over 12 original posts, its engagement rate beats 54% of 3,899 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 19K times each, and 1.07% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.43% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 33% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 12 posts sampled, 75% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.2K interactions, about 16x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #saveamother, #independencemarathon, #35yearsofgrowingwithuganda.

Compared with accounts its own size
Snr. Cde. Robert Kabushenga's engagement rate beats 54% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 52% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Rugyeyo Farm Update Last July we took delivery of a dry milling machine(huller) given to us through a grant from @UgandaCoffee_ @MAAIF_Uganda under their Agro-industrialization program. It was handed to me by Hon. @DESIREtheFARMER, our sector Minister. Today I report that we are installing the machine & the plan is to commission it by end of September, if we can raise all the money. So far we have started where we are either with what we have. The point is we have a bigger dream of which this is only the first step. We are looking to raise at least US $ 500,000 so we can have the complete process that would take us to export grade processed beans which we can also be roasted into a final consumer product. We could do with a little more. That would enable us to complete the infrastructure requirements, additional equipment & then build a production ecosystem that would positively impact our output. We are in a unique position for having our own farm that has commercial production scale. Now it is to build a network of farmers we can buy from. All this requires significant liquidity to execute. I am hopeful nonetheless. Two years ago I came close to exiting. A chance meeting with a fellow coffee guy & small talk is what it took for me to revisit my business practices. Things look different and promising. In the next 15-20 years @RugyeyoFarmLtd coffee business will be a whole different story.

One of those days when a chance encounter turns into a consequential promise. I went to @KURAAssetManUG expecting I was simply borrowing a boardroom. And then things took a completely & radically different direction. I am at tail end of a @EnabelinUganda Grant to make @RugyeyoFarmLtd investment ready. During this discussion I got access to the finest young minds in investment finance. They questioned my business model & I shared my dream of our coffee future. In the end we agreed there is opportunity for a private coffee fund. This can open up different pathways for accessing the financial returns of Uganda’s coffee promise. We will be coming to you on how you can be part of the private fund

Kabushenga’s Thoughts Here Is A Cause For You I disappointed my friend @asiimwe4justice. You see, Jackie has this great concept which really works well & especially for her. She does this walk where she calls up a person she would like to have a conversation with & off they go. For a start, it is good exercise. Walking always is. Secondly, it is a really really cheap date. Almost laughably so. You who comes along never has to cost her anything. The road is free and no need to eat or drink. Yet you keep her perhaps the most productive company of any date that anyone can wish for. When you are done you go home. But I digress. This is not about hooking up. It is about conversation & learning. So back to the disappointment. Jackie expected to talk about the change that my life has gone through since my previous work. Deep down, without saying it, she expected I would break out into a run rather than walk. None of that happened. In fact I stuck to walking. Only at a faster pace. She had to slow me down to catch her breath. But I couldn’t help myself. Rather than miss out on running, I spent most of our walking time on the road, talking about running. I said nothing about the new direction my life had taken. She didn’t forgive me. But my run talk was about an issue dear to Jackie’s heart. I decided to tell her why on Sunday October 4th we are going to run to #SaveAMother. The week before I visited Mengo Hospital Blood Bank. It was a sobering experience. The Independence Marathon is partly a fundraising drive to benefit them because they serve the underprivileged particularly mothers in child birth. Of the 187 Ugandan mothers that die every year during child birth, most of them bleed to death. Uganda suffers an annual blood shortfall of 100,000 units. So Mengo Hospital Blood Bank a major source, is in desperate need of blood and money to collect it. They also need a cold room to handle the raw blood. Right now it is kept in a few ordinary fridges. And let me add that the shortage of O-Minus blood is particularly acute. This was my conversation with Jackie. By the time she remembered why she had wanted us to go on this walk together, we were done. I laughed at her! And she was sold in signing up for the cause. Please join her #WalkToConnect bus that day if running is too much for you. See you then PS: Got to donate blood myself & meet two old friends @naviomusic & @Mizzflav

Kabushenga’s Thoughts Coffee, Coffee & More Coffee It has been two weeks of coffee. It started with the Coffee Retreat at Rugyeyo Farm. We spent most of the day on agronomy & particularly how a farmer can build a circular economy by applying regenerative agricultural methods. Then my restless mind and big mouth got me into yet another conversation about the posture & identity Uganda should take at February 2027 Africa Fine Coffees Association event in Kampala. Our strategy beyond increasing coffee production as a country, is to position Uganda as an origin in the world market of coffee. To do this requires a rethink of robusta & a sustained branding campaign that uses our recently launched identity. Which neatly takes me to the next & perhaps most profound conversation. But first, the downside. There far too many initiatives all purportedly to drive up the coffee fortunes. They are dressed in progressive language, have lots of money earmarked for them but largely working in isolation. You don’t see what my old friends in the civil service used to call “sector wide approach”. We are working in the smallness of silos. Back to the upside. Last week I was in the audience of a World Bank & MAAIF review of their AGRICONNECT partnership that supports four priority crops in Uganda. Coffee is one & we came to receive a presentation. Then a debate ensued. At the end, the Commissioner for Coffee Production at MAAIF asked us to answer some questions. The most powerful one was who we produce coffee for as Uganda. It was not one we could handle in an afternoon. So we in the coffee private sector met again on Tuesday to find answers. What we discussed & recommended will remain confidential. But I can share my perspective. Uganda needs to develop a coffee business model that would maximize benefit for all of us in the sector. Set a financial number as the aspiration & then define the pillars that would drive this outcome. Work on consistency of quality & fulfillment of orders. And then multiply yield. We talk repeatedly about agro-industrialization to a point where this has become sloganeering. It is time to talk about industrialization of agriculture. This is what gets us into commercial farming. This will strengthen our position in the world market of coffee. Hopefully one day we shall refocus PS: In the same week we also examined ways in which to turn our labour needs and skills requirements in the coffee sector into work opportunity for women between the age of 16-35. The other is how to create business opportunity for the same demographic by leveraging our assets & processes. All so they can earn some money & learn skills

- What is Snr. Cde. Robert Kabushenga's engagement rate on X?
- Snr. Cde. Robert Kabushenga (@rkabushenga) has an engagement rate of 0.048%, based on the median interactions across 12 original posts from the last 30 days against 438,416 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.048%, Snr. Cde. Robert Kabushenga sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,701 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @rkabushenga have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 54% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @rkabushenga post?
- Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.2 posts per day across the measured window.
