Early reading. We have captured 1 original post for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 2.8K interactions against 512K followers, an engagement rate of 0.541%. Posts are seen about 3.3M times each, and 0.084% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 647.7% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 3% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 1 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 100% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 8.6K interactions, about 3.1x its own typical post. Only 1 original post have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 07:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

And yes. I stand by my comment that the trade deals being announced are largely garbage because they are so uncertain with no mechanisms for enforcement or even any idea of how to make them happen

tonight @ScottJenningsKY sank to disingenuously playing with facts when he threw my April recession comments at me. When I made them @realDonaldTrump had imposed 130% tariffs on China. Today’s 15-20% tariff rates are bad but manageable. Sad Scott Sad you sank to that

These trade deals: no process, no monitoring, no enforcement, no direction on how they will be implemented, etc. Frameworks are fine if there is a realistic chance that they will come to fruition. In five years time, let’s see how much of these deals have actually happened.

Precisely how did Canada’s ad misrepresent Reagan’s views on tariffs. Someone tell me please. Reagan’s 1987 radio address and subsequent actions show he was a free trader who used tariffs surgically. I can’t see the ‘fake’ or misrepresentation.

Remember the quote by John Maynard Keynes “ when the fact change, I change my mind; why, sir, What do you do?” April Tarrifs 130%. July’s Tariffs 15%. Er…. @ScottJenningsKY if you can’t see the difference, shame.

This from @business “key details are scant for those who have (trade deals) — including potential exemptions, investment promises and potential changes to rules of origin. For @realDonaldTrump it’s all about the headline number around 15%. Which gives an av 17% tariff - the highest since Smoot Hawley in 1930

I cannot recall any time when Fed and White House are at such brutal loggerheads. Just because we keep saying this is unprecedented should not diminish the significance and gravity of the situation.
