https://t.co/5kQeHOwn96 Sobre el caso de Luis Hugas, periodista de VTV, se pudo conocer que el venía de hacer recorridos con su drone todos estos días luego del terremoto en diversas zonas afectadas, siendo el último recorrido en el edificio Obelisco de Altamira. Hugas solicitó permiso a los Guardias Nacionales y Policías militares de la zona para levantar el Drone, el cual fue fue permitido. Minutos después Hugas se percata que le están lanzando objetos al Drone y procede llevarlo hasta su vehículo, se baja del carro, guarda el equipo y cierra con seguro el carro. En ese momento el comandante de la Policía Militar, General Reinoso y el Coronel de la GNB, Valero Bautista, sólo preguntaban por el Drone. Seguidamente llega el director de la Policía de Chacao, Comisario Luis Gonzalo de Córdova, quien de manera apresurada decide llevarse detenido a Hugas. Él ya estando detenido, los militares deciden meterse en el vehículo y llevarse los equipos de Hugas. El comisario de PoliChacao, Luis Gonzalo, impide el acto y exige que devuelvan todo al vehículo. Pasadas las horas, ya Hugas bajo custodia en la sede principal de poli Chacao, El Comisario libera a Hugas y le entrega sus equipos. Minutos más tarde el vehículo de Hugas presenta una falla mecánica severa. Él responsabiliza a los Militares de haber dañado el vehículo ante la impotencia de no quedarse con nada

Falleció José Breijo, quien permaneció más de dos años detenido tras ser arrestado a finales de 2023, luego de fotografiar una bandera con inscripciones en árabe en Caracas. Posteriormente fue acusado de terrorismo y recluido en la cárcel de Tocuyito. Durante su reclusión, familiares y allegados denunciaron el grave deterioro de su estado de salud, asegurando que sufrió desnutrición y que las condiciones de detención afectaron severamente su estado físico. En mayo de 2026 recibió el beneficio de casa por cárcel. Al regresar a su apartamento en Bello Monte, denunció que el inmueble había sido ocupado y que sus pertenencias habían desaparecido. Personas cercanas al caso señalaron que el ocupante era el mismo funcionario que participó en su detención. Hasta el momento, las autoridades no han informado oficialmente la causa de su fallecimiento.
