JP Nsengimana (Phil) engagement report
@nsengimanajp - 104K followers on X
Measured over 25 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 14, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 20 interactions against 104K followers, an engagement rate of 0.019%. Measured over 25 original posts, its engagement rate beats 25% of 20,183 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 2.1K times each, and 0.967% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.98% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 50% of days. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 25 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 36% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 82 interactions, about 4.1x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #ahtsat5, #ahts2026, #africa.

Compared with accounts its own size
JP Nsengimana (Phil)'s engagement rate beats 25% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 40% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.019%, JP Nsengimana (Phil) sits above the 10th percentile of the 202,259 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 100% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 36% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 100% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 36% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 798 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

What began with approximately 600 participants in 2022 has grown into a community of more than 5,600 people at #AHTS5. That growth reflects the work of an exceptional team and the confidence of partners who have supported this platform from the beginning. Together, we have created a programme featuring 104 sessions, 13 site visits, 31 investor meetings and 75 implementation opportunities. Each number represents people connecting, exchanging knowledge, forming partnerships and moving ideas closer to implementation. Opening this fifth edition was a proud moment for me, but this milestone belongs to everyone who has built AHTS: our organising team, partners, speakers, exhibitors, innovators and delegates. Thank you for five years of trust, commitment and shared ambition. We have come a long way, and we are only getting started. #AHTSat5 #AfricaHealthTechSummit #AHTS2026 #WellnessForAll

When we launched the @AfricaHTSummit, the ambition was to create a platform where people with a shared purpose could find one another, build trust and turn that connection into action. Coming together is only the beginning. Progress depends on staying together, and success comes when we work together. That spirit was clear in our conversation on wellness at #AHTS2026. We held a similar session last year, but this year it carries greater urgency. Across Africa, noncommunicable diseases, mental health conditions and other emerging health challenges are placing a growing burden on families, health systems and economies. Our health agenda must continue addressing infectious diseases while responding with equal seriousness to the conditions increasingly shaping how people live, work and age. This is what we are building through AHTS: a community capable of moving from shared concern to coordinated action, and from treating illness to advancing wellness. #AHTSat5 #5YearsOfImpact #Wellness #DigitalHealth #HealthInnovation

Day 3 brought the fifth @AfricaHTSummit to a close, but the work ahead has never felt more urgent. We confronted the politics of health and Africa’s Agenda 2063. We asked who gets to make decisions for women, where African capital is in shaping our health future, and how assistive technology can become part of an inclusive system rather than remain at its margins. These were not ceremonial closing conversations. They went directly to the questions of power, ownership and accountability that will determine whether innovation produces real change. Seeing 5,900 people come together this year has been deeply personal for me. AHTS began in 2022 with a belief that Africa needed a platform where health, technology, policy and investment could meet around a shared purpose. Five years later, that belief has become a community. To every partner, speaker, delegate, exhibitor, volunteer and member of the team, thank you for carrying this vision with us. The Summit has ended. Our responsibility has not. What we build next must be African-led, connected and measured by whether it improves people’s lives. #AHTS2026 #AHTSat5 #5YearsOfImpact #WellnessForAll #AfricaHealth

At @AfricaHTSummit , we spend a great deal of time discussing the interoperability of systems. At the Cultural Soirée, I proposed a different test: the interoperability of people. No APIs. No technical standards. Just one simple instruction: meet someone you had never met before and take a selfie together. Exchanging contacts was strongly encouraged. Technology can connect platforms and data, but progress still begins with people meeting, listening and building trust across institutions, countries and sectors. The evening gave us an opportunity to celebrate African culture, five years of AHTS and the relationships that keep this community growing. We often speak about the Internet of Things. That night, we activated the Internet of People. Africa is home, and I remain proud to build its future with this community. #AHTSat5 #AHTS2026 #AfricaHealthTechSummit #WellnessForAll

Some of the most important outcomes of @AfricaHTSummit begin away from the stage: an innovator meets the right investor, a partnership takes shape, or a solution finds a path to scale. As we mark five years of AHTS, our next responsibility is to measure those outcomes more systematically. This year, the Deal Room connects 15+ investors with 35+ innovators for focused conversations around financing, partnership and growth. Our ambition is to keep growing this platform with purpose and a clearer understanding of the value it creates. #AHTS2026 #AHTSat5 #AHTSAt5 #WellnessForAll

Mental health should be taken seriously. Part of everyday healthcare. Accessible to everyone. Something we can talk about. Supported by our communities. Built into health systems. Six completions of one sentence, all pointing to the same gap: the distance between intention and infrastructure. At #AHTSat5, we are examining what it actually takes to close that distance, the people, the innovation, the access, and the systems required to embed mental health into the architecture of healthcare rather than treat it as an addition to it. #AHTS2026: where innovation meets intelligent health systems for the future of Africa. Africa is not short on data. The challenge is ensuring that Africans govern it, build with it and benefit from it. At 2:00 PM in MH1, I join @NithyaRamanath1 of @Nexleaf to discuss ownership, capacity and trust in Africa’s health data economy. At 2:30 PM, @georgiendirangu sits down with @FredSwaniker of @SandTechInc to explore how fragmented health data can become actionable intelligence. Two conversations. One priority: Africa must shape and benefit from its health intelligence future. #AHTS2026 #AHTSat5 #5YearsOfImpact

Africa holds roughly 18% of the world's population but less than 1% of global data center capacity, the physical foundation any health AI ultimately runs on. Without that foundation, sovereignty is theoretical: governments cannot choose, govern or scale AI on their own terms. This session, led by Sand Technologies and AWS with Rwanda's government, traces the journey from infrastructure to intelligence, using the Sand-AWS Rwanda Outpost as a working example of data, cloud, compute and connectivity coming together. It closes with practical lessons for African governments building intelligent, prevention-first health systems without losing local ownership. - What is JP Nsengimana (Phil)'s engagement rate on X?
- JP Nsengimana (Phil) (@nsengimanajp) has an engagement rate of 0.019%, based on the median interactions across 25 original posts from the last 30 days against 104,305 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.019%, JP Nsengimana (Phil) sits above the 10th percentile of the 202,259 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @nsengimanajp have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 25% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @nsengimanajp post?
- Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.8 posts per day across the measured window.
