A typical post picks up 35 interactions against 124K followers, an engagement rate of 0.028%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 33% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 3.3K times each, and 1.08% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.63% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 13% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 03:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 40% carry an image or video and 30% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 784 interactions, about 22x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #grenadyealaso, #haiti, #mwalangakkiltikreyòl.

Compared with accounts its own size

Marc Alain Boucicault 🇭🇹's engagement rate beats 33% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 43% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.028%, Marc Alain Boucicault 🇭🇹 sits above the 25th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.143%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 204,956 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,894 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 03:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 40% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 30% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 197 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

My humble tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary. Today, our students, faculty members and staff at KIIT & KISS came together to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti and pay their respects to Bapu. His message of truth, non-violence and service remains close to my heart. I have always believed that if we can ease someone’s suffering, we should make every effort to do so. Let us remember Bapu through our actions, by being honest, treating everyone with dignity and caring for those who need our support.

Chasing my dreams: It’s official, I am back full-time at @banjHT as CEO! Mwen retounen nan Banj 100%! After spending a very special year at the @mitlegatum, I have decided to refocus my career on Haiti first and elevate my commitment to take my venture, Banj, to the next level. I am grateful for the team at the Center and the community at @MIT, our fellows and all the stakeholders around the world that I had the chance to work with and learn from. The Center will always be close to my heart. My next step is to focus on positioning Banj as a strong global partner to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Haiti. My goal is to help foster opportunities for deeper collaborations in Haiti, with our diaspora and the rest of the world to create better conditions for entrepreneurship and innovation to drive economic impact and social transformation. I am also grateful for 2 wonderful years spent in Cambridge. Connecting with truly inspiring human-beings within this Harvard/MIT ecosystem, the Haitian community of Massachusetts as well as becoming a new dad have taught me so much. I have grown and become much more intentional about the impact I want to make in this world. I am ready to take on this new challenge with our devoted team at Banj and leverage everything that we have built so far to be stronger contributors to change in the entrepreneurship and innovation space of our homeland. Finally,I am grateful to all of you who continue to follow my journey taking shape in public. I will continue to count on your support at every step of the way forward. See you in Haiti or on any of my upcoming trips building global partnerships for Banj to make these dreams come true. Send me a message if you want to be part of this next chapter.

What is Marc Alain Boucicault 🇭🇹's engagement rate on X?
Marc Alain Boucicault 🇭🇹 (@marcalainb) has an engagement rate of 0.028%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 123,693 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.028%, Marc Alain Boucicault 🇭🇹 sits above the 25th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @marcalainb have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 33% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @marcalainb post?
Most posts go out around 03:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.37 posts per day across the measured window.
