Kevin O'Leary aka Mr. Wonderful engagement report
@kevinolearytv - 1.2M followers on X
Measured over 49 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 25, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 311 interactions against 1.2M followers, an engagement rate of 0.025%. Measured over 49 original posts, its engagement rate beats 47% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 37K times each, and 0.83% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.01% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 49 posts sampled, 98% carry an image or video, 6% are part of a thread and 10% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.9K interactions, about 19x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #sharktank, #rivanera, #throwback.

Compared with accounts its own size
Kevin O'Leary aka Mr. Wonderful's engagement rate beats 47% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 42% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 98% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 10% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 98% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 10% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 373 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Attended the first ever Canadian global investment confrence in #Toronto. It was like @ABCSharkTank The premiers of each province were pitching investors their deals. Everyone asked the same question. What is the path to permit? The country is trying to emerge out of an economic coma because foreign investment in new infrastructure ground to a halt over the last decade. I predict two provinces will be the winners of this pitch competition. #Alberta with oil and an abundance of low cost natural gas electrical generation projects and #2 #Saskatchewan with mega #potash and #uranium deals. The rest of the provinces did a poor job articulating the timeline to permit on their projects. You can't invest if it takes decades. #IRR is all about time. Prime Minister @MarkJCarney has his work cut out for him!

I’ve been coming to The Big Texan Steak Ranch for many years and I have yet to take down the 72oz steak challenge! We’re talking 4 1/2 lbs of meat, three shrimp, a potato, a bun and a salad all in under an hour. If you fail you pay $72. Stop the madness! It’s always a great time here.

When I look at Elon Musk, I see almost 100% signal and no noise. He spends his waking hours focused on what matters, and the results speak for themselves. That kind of intensity can come with social tradeoffs, but history’s great achievers share a remarkable ability to stay focused on their mission.

I guarantee the United States and Canada will eventually unite their economies out of economic necessity, not by giving up sovereignty, but by eliminating tariffs, strengthening trade, and creating a more competitive North American market. Canadians will remain Canadian, Americans will remain American, but together we can build an economic alliance strong enough to defend our shared values, compete with China, and secure the future of both nations.

I don’t believe the U.S. Canada trade war is built to last. America needs critical resources like uranium and potash, and Canada needs stable access to the U.S. market. Long term, these economies are too strategically connected to stay divided by tariffs. The real outcome should be deeper economic cooperation, not pushing Canada closer to China.

One of my rules of investing is that I never let any stock become more than 5% of my portfolio and I never let any sector become more than 20%. When a stock becomes more than 5% I sell it down just like I did with Tesla. My cost basis is zero. It doesn’t matter what happens with Tesla, I made a ton of money on it by following this rule.

- What is Kevin O'Leary aka Mr. Wonderful's engagement rate on X?
- Kevin O'Leary aka Mr. Wonderful (@kevinolearytv) has an engagement rate of 0.025%, based on the median interactions across 49 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,243,571 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.025%, Kevin O'Leary aka Mr. Wonderful sits above the 25th percentile of the 204,694 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @kevinolearytv have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 47% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @kevinolearytv post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.1 posts per day across the measured window.
