A typical post picks up 2 interactions against 201K followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 8 original posts, its engagement rate beats 4% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 1.5K times each, and 0.099% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.752% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.9 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 47% of days. Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 8 posts sampled, 63% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 564 interactions, about 282x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #threelions, #celebritytraitors, #nationsleague.

Compared with accounts its own size

Karl Compton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿's engagement rate beats 4% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 6% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.001%, Karl Compton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 sits below the 10th percentile of the 205,261 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 205,261 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,894 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 2034 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

The UK might not be the most liked country on the planet, but we should be the most respected. Yes, we did some bad things in the past. We can’t just forget them, but we have given the world so much good that we will always be the country that has contributed the most positive changes to the planet. We ended slavery which alone should make us the most respected. We also have GMT which controls the entire planet. We created the magna carta which still is part of laws throughout the world today. For such a small country we have punched above our weight and achieved so much for such a small island esp. when you compare us to such big countries like America. Just some of our achievements. 🇬🇧 INVENTIONS The modern English language The arc lamp The ATM The atom The Atomic clock Bagless vacuum cleaners The bicycle Bungee jumping Calculus the cat flap cats’ eyes Caterpillar tracks Cavity megaton Chlorinated water The chronometer The clockwork radio Communication cables (internet) The computer The corkscrew Digital audio players (mp3s) DNA (with an American & new Zealander) Electric clock Engine powered ships Fingerprinting The fire extinguisher First mammal clone First successful flight First telegraph Flushing toilets The flying shuttle The fridge The gas mask The gas stove The guillotine Haymaking machine The Higgs boson Hollow drainpipe The hovercraft The hydraulic press The hydrogen cell The iron lung The jet engine The kettle The lawnmower The lightbulb (NOT Thomas Edison) The light switch Linoleum Liquid crystal The mackintosh coat Mass glass cutting Matches Mechanical calculator Micrometre The modern car layout Motion pictures The multitouch interface The nuclear reactor Photography The piston Plastic Plastic surgery The pneumatic tyre Portland cement The postage stamp Power loom Railways Reflecting telescope The roundabout The sandwich Screw cutting lathe The seed drill The selfie stick The sewing machine Ship propellers Sms text messaging The snorkel Soda water Spinning mule Stainless steel Steam ships The steam engine The steam turbine The submarine (with a Dutch guy) The tank The telephone The television The thermos flask The threshing machine Tin cans The toaster The toothbrush The torpedo trains Turbo aircraft Viagra Waterproof material The worldwide web NAVIGATORS David Livingstone Francis Drake Henry Hudson James Cook Matthew Flinders Robert Falcon Scott William Adams COUNTRIES WE CREATED/INFLUENCED Australia Canada Malaysia New Zealand Singapore South Africa USA FOOD AND DRINK/MEALS WE MADE FAMOUS Apple Pie Bakewell Tart Bangers & Mash Battenberg Cake Beans on Toast Beef Wellington Black Pudding Bourbon Biscuits Bread & Butter Pudding Bubble and Squeak Cadburys Cheeses (Cheddar, Lancashire, Red Leicester, Stilton & Wensleydale) Chicken Tika Masala Christmas Pudding The Chocolate bar Ciders Clotted Cream Cornish Pasty Cottage Pie Crumpets Cumberland Sausage Dandelion & Burdock Digestive Biscuits English Tea Eton Mess Expresso Martini Fish & Chips Fox’s Biscuits Full English Breakfast Gin Ginger Ale Golden Syrup Haggis Heinz Hot Cross Buns HP Sauce Jam Roly-Poly Jellied Eels Kendal Mint Cake Knickerbocker Glory Lancashire Hotpot Lea & Perrins Worcester Sauce Leeks Lucozade Marmite McVitie’s Mead Mince Pies Mr Kipling Peach Melba Pimm’s Ploughman’s Lunch Pork Pies Pot Noodle Prawn Cocktail Real Ale Rhubarb Crumble The sandwich Sausage Rolls Scones with Jam & Cream Scotch Eggs Scotch Whisky Sheppard’s Pie Shortbread Smoked Salmon Spotted Dick Squash Drink Strawberries and Cream Steak/Steak & Ale Pie Sticky Toffee Pudding Sunday Roast Terry’s Chocolate Orange Toad in the Hole Treacle Tart Trifle Victoria Sponge Vimto Vodka Martini Walkers Crisps Welsh Rarebit Yorkshire Puddings CHEFS Delia Smith Gary Rhodes Gordon Ramsey Heston Blumenthal Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall James Martin Jamie Oliver Keith Floyd Marco Pierre White Mary Berry Nigella Lawson Rick Stein CAR BRANDS Aston Martin Bentley Jaguar Land Rover Lotus McLaren MG Mini Rolls-Royce Vauxhall LITERARY WRITERS/POETS Dame Agatha Christie Lord Alfred Tennyson Anthony Burgess Arthur C. I haven’t watched any of the first 2 weeks of Big Brother and TBH I’m not bothered sadly. Big Brother stopped being great on Channel 5. Even though I don’t mind the series on ITV they aren’t memorable and just full of woke LGBT people. It’s become boring IMO #BBUK

What is Karl Compton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿's engagement rate on X?
Karl Compton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@karljcompton) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 8 original posts from the last 30 days against 200,762 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.001%, Karl Compton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 sits below the 10th percentile of the 205,261 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @karljcompton have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 4% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the bottom 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @karljcompton post?
Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.9 posts per day across the measured window.

Keep going
