Jordi Visser engagement report
@jvisserlabs - 281K followers on X
Measured over 20 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 23, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 1.2K interactions against 281K followers, an engagement rate of 0.441%. Measured over 20 original posts, its engagement rate beats 84% of 20,183 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 63K times each, and 1.91% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 22.4% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 20 posts sampled, 95% carry an image or video and 45% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 11K interactions, about 9.5x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Jordi Visser's engagement rate beats 84% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 62% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.441%, Jordi Visser sits above the 50th percentile of the 202,672 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.142% to 0.673%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 12:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 95% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 45% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 95% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 45% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 576 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Why AI Will Save The World By Marc Andreessen The era of Artificial Intelligence is here, and boy are people freaking out. Fortunately, I am here to bring the good news: AI will not destroy the world, and in fact may save it. 🧵

Last week BTC had its largest weekly sigma move in the last decade while breaking above the 200 day moving average. On August 21st, the 200 day moving average slope turned positive for the first time in 279 days. Here are all the times in BTC history where the 200 day slope was negative for more than 100 days and the forward returns once it turned positive. In all cases, the low made during that decline window was never broken.

Spent my morning reading this recent speech from @SecScottBessent. It lays out a new and defining vision for America's role in the economy for the next 100 years. @elerianm calls it a "remarkably important speech." Bessent organizes his vision around five principles. Principle 3 is, "America will write the rules of the next economy." He gives one example of what this means: "Digital assets, stablecoins, tokenization, and new payment systems will help to shape the future of money. The United States should not consign itself to the sidelines while that future is built elsewhere." If you've wondered how committed Washington is to making crypto succeed in the US, that tells you something.

Nearly 18 years after the Bitcoin white paper, Bitcoin has survived crashes, skeptics, governments and countless predictions of its death. At some point, survival itself becomes information. No more time to sit on the sidelines and wait as AI and crypto merge. Everyone has a Bitcoin story. @natbrunell has written the book to help you begin yours. Bond are "crashing." The fed may raise 25 bps. Oil is rising. Inflation is out of control. Wait out the Midterm seasonals These are a distraction for investors while the facts are that global earnings and revisions grow, the economy is strong, valuations are going down, inflation expectations, bond vol and spreads are anchored lower and the center of the AI universe NVDA is about to make all time highs. The investment story for the next year is the merge of AI + crypto. As agents become economic actors, they’ll need more compute, wallets for payments, stablecoins, tokenization and 24/7 markets. Agents don't get scared by X posts about "scary" bond charts. They only care about reaching their goals which is about making money. That is the real story for the next year. Don’t get caught staring at endgame bear porn while the new financial system is being built. If you believe crypto is a scam and have never spent time on learning how it is for agents and not humans, you are already behind. Catching up will be difficult. Do your homework on crypto now. Start with this weekend's video. New video: The Bond Market “Crash” Is a Trap — AI Agents Are About to Ignite Crypto https://t.co/z5pV66IeY9

The market didn’t crash. Humanity didn’t die. Crypto broke out. This week gave investors almost every excuse to panic: AI extinction headlines, oil surging, 10-year yields back near 2007 levels, and a hawkish Fed hike. Bears jumped to the highest level since the tariff panic and yet the S&P barely moved. Meanwhile, my 46-name crypto ecosystem index broke to new highs for the year. The bigger story is being missed. Crypto spent 16 years building the rails before the users arrived. The next stage of the AI trade is here with the rise of AI swarms. Humans were never meant to be the crypto users. Agents were. The ghost city is starting to fill. And next week, I’m finally releasing the long-awaited crypto video and research laying out why now, how the ecosystem fits together, and where I think the opportunities are. This is a visual I put together for this weekend's video. It is built from timestamps of an interview with Marc Andreessen from April on the importance of the collision of AI agents and crypto. I will go through in detail on Sunday morning but this intersection is the most important investment theme for the next year. Do your homework now.

We are at the end of the 2nd month of Q3. We have seen a historic tech momentum unwind with Situational Awareness. 10Y yields are closing with their largest QTD rise since 2024 with 30Y yields hitting their highest level since 2007 with a 67% chance of Sept rate hike. Here is the QTD performance as of now. SPX ~2%, NDX ~-3%, Gold ~11%, BTC ~34%, ETH ~57%. AI agents are being released by the millions as we speak and nobody owns the rails they need to transact. 2026 was the birth of agents and 2027 is when they start to spend. Be ready

BTC is an community based energy asset that historically accelerates out of bear markets when vol has compressed and it is ignored. This is measured best in sigma moves. The pattern of the last two major shifts coming out of 2018 and 2022 (I hate to say four year cycle but yes) the pattern was seen by a large weekly sigma move where BTC crossed the 200 day moving average the week of the sigma move. So far this week is exactly the same pattern. More in this week's video.

Reading these numbers
- What is Jordi Visser's engagement rate on X?
- Jordi Visser (@jvisserlabs) has an engagement rate of 0.441%, based on the median interactions across 20 original posts from the last 30 days against 281,374 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.441%, Jordi Visser sits above the 50th percentile of the 202,672 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @jvisserlabs have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 84% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @jvisserlabs post?
- Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.4 posts per day across the measured window.
