To the Americans: I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States. And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness: You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence. This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns. Success is equated with exploitation. Ambition is looked upon with contempt. This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom. But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated. This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet. And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America: Thank God for the United States. Thank God for the wisdom of its founders. Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man. Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners. Long may your admirable country dominate the world. Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states. We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still.

Hi, everybody. I’m pleased to let you know that we’re going to release a lecture a week from my extensive tour archive, beginning this Sunday and then repeating every Sunday after that. This allows me to do something interesting and useful while I’m otherwise incapacitated. My health is such at the moment that I can’t really return to podcasting or public lecturing. But we recorded these with the express intention of preparing them for release, and we’ve all determined that this is a very good time to do that. So that’s what’s going to happen. I hope you find them useful and compelling. They’ll be particularly attractive to those of you who liked my early YouTube work that was very lecture focused. It’s a return to my roots, I suppose, in some ways. And I’m as happy as I can be under the current circumstances, given my ill health, to be participating in this process and to have these lectures prepared for release. We think of this evil as Marxism. In reality, Marxism is nothing more or less than the current instantiation of a much more ancient evil: possession by the envious and hateful spirit that drove Cain to murder his brother Abel. The great book of Genesis thus portrays mankind as riven by an eternal fratricidal conflict. Those who reject genuine sacrifice become embittered by their subsequent failure ("rejection by God"). Instead of repenting and changing, they turn to revenge. And who do they target? Those who strive to do well and offer what is best. I can't believe how much wisdom the author of Genesis 4 compressed into that story's few sentences. You might even come to believe that God Himself had a hand in it. Truly: it's uncanny. The first two human beings born into history are, respectively, a good, honest productive man and his brother, who allows himself to be consumed by resentment and the desire to destroy. My activities are still very limited at the moment. I have been doing some writing, however–thank God. I'm so relieved to be once again doing something creative and useful. I have also been watching Professor Paul Kengor's The Dark Side of Marxism from @petersonacademy. It does not feature the Marx portrayed by the woke university socialist acolytes (to put it mildly). I interviewed @DrPaulKengor a year ago or so ago on my podcast. He's a truly engaging, creative and witty storyteller and lecturer. It turns out that Old Karl was quite the satanic soul. He was a parasite economically all his life, extorting continual support from his long-suffering relatives. He wrote (and admired) purposefully demonic poetry and drama. Most disturbing, however, was his choice of favorite quote. From Goethe's Faust, it's a line I have quoted many times, in consequence of its sheer existential horror. It's Mephistopheles presenting his identity and central credo: “I am the Spirit that endlessly denies! And rightly, too; for all that comes to birth Is fit for overthrow, as nothing worth; Wherefore the world were better sterilized; Thus all that's here as Evil recognized Is gain to me, and downfall, ruin, sin. The very element I prosper in.” I wonder if Zohran Mamdani @NYCMayor knows of the inclination of his apparent intellectual hero?

I first met Charlie Kirk more than ten years ago. At that time, he was very young, and possessed an evangelical naivety that was relatively foreign to a Canadian. He was truly and somewhat amusingly shocked, for example, at the pervasive smell of marijuana on the streets of Toronto. It was obvious, however—despite that sheltered mien—that Charlie was someone deeply and singularly committed to a unique mission, and that he would be driven to learn everything necessary to its success. I met him in person another dozen times after that, and was asked to speak at a number of Turning Point events. I enjoyed the events. It was a very good thing to see thousands of enthusiastic young people trying to make things better in their somehow endearing conservative American way. It was also fascinating to watch Charlie develop in sophistication over the years. The bravery he showed in presenting a truly conservative viewpoint on university campuses was part of that development, as was the ferocious skill he developed at debating contentious issues, under trying conditions, for years. My wife, Tammy, and I met his lovely wife Erika with him on several private dinners. They made a truly admirable and mutually respectful couple. We had plans to make such meetings a regular occurrence—but life, and death, got in the way. I was not informed about Charlie's murder for several months after it occurred, in consequence of my recent illness. It came as a terrible shock. It is also truly awful to see what a spectacle has been made of his demise by pathological actors across the political spectrum. He was a solid, decent, hard-working, truthful, brave person. We are all—right and left alike—lesser without him. On the right: because he was an example and a leader. On the left: because he would willingly talk across the aisle, and in good faith. There will come a day—and too soon, I am afraid—when even those who vilify his memory will long for the days when people such as Charlie existed, and made such civilized talk a priority.
