Made this album in under 6 months in the spirit of a mixtape. Really just wanted to get some raps off and feed the core , nothing more. But in the process, I felt the need to give it some more experimentation and some introspection. Really love all the records on there. Iāll tell yall my favs next week although itās subject to change. All in all, itās something for everybody on there. Every type of fan of mine. Everybody talks about how we shouldnāt beef and we should spar more on records but truth is niggas donāt wanna be wanting to collab out of fear of getting bodied on they own record. Iāve seen a lot of niggas over the years duck that friendly fade. Check my track record Iāve never been one to shy away from collabing with REAL SPITTERS. Whether that be getting niggas on my own tracks or hopping on niggas tracks. Not to mention coming up in a collective of straight fire MCs. I will say tho, itās easy to show up on somebody else track when the bar is already set and all you gotta do is meet it or better. But I say all this to say, thatās why sometimes niggas catch strays cuz they be ducking smoke and they be gate keeping the ātop spotā. Before you drag me, this just shit Iāve witnessed in my experience, I didnāt come here to bash nobody or throw shade this is just my two cents on the ongoing convo. Lyrical rap is the hardest sub genre of rap music because thereās hardly any camaraderie. Thereās not a single known popular lyricist i havenāt at some point extended the olive branch too, publicly showed love to, brought on tour with me or collabed/sparred with. And IF you could name one, thereās a 90% chance collaboration is already being discussed. Now fight me.
