Jewel engagement report
@jeweljk - 333K followers on X
Measured over 1 original post from a 30-day window, last computed on September 3, 2026.
Engagement
Early reading. We have captured 1 original post for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.
A typical post picks up 5.3K interactions against 333K followers, an engagement rate of 1.59%. Posts are seen about 76K times each, and 6.95% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 22.9% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.03 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 3% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 1 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 12K interactions, about 2.3x its own typical post. Only 1 original post have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 100% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 0% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 100% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 860 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I’ll never forget @DollyParton coming into the studio to record “My Father’s Daughter” with me. She told me the song reminded her of her own life story, and of “Coat of Many Colors,” which meant so much to me. And then, at 8 o’clock in the morning, she walked into the studio in full leather pants, lucite high heels, perfect hair, with sparkly butterflies woven through it — completely and unmistakably Dolly. She was prepared, gracious, funny, and consummately professional. And when she opened her mouth to sing, she was flawless. There are some people you admire from afar and somehow admire even more once you get to work beside them. Dolly is one of those people. An extraordinary artist, songwriter, storyteller, and woman. I feel so lucky that our voices got to meet on this song and that I have it as a memento to keep of her extraordinary life ❤️

Yesterday was the anniversary of Pieces Of You. This little album that could. To this day it’s the best selling debut album of ALL TIME. How crazy is that? I was a feral Alaskan girl. I was homeless. I turned down a 1 million dollar signing bonus - all because I wanted to make an acoustic folk album at the height of grunge and I was pretty sure it would not be a huge success, and I wanted to de-risk it for the label so I would not get dropped if it did not perform well. So I could make the music I wanted , how I wanted. And it did fail. For two years. So I went to work. Over 1,000 shows a year. 5 and 6 shows a day- high schools, radio stations, parking lots, coffee shops, opening for Bauhaus and Peter Murphy and punk bands in rough clubs. Slowly I developed ag rats roots following - and I got my big break on the @ConanOBrien show. I began to get momentum and soon I was selling 1 million albums every month, for over 15 months. What a wild ride! It is thanks to all of you for validating sensitive folk music in a world of male dominated grunge. I am so gratful to you all-more than you can ever know.

30 years ago, Who Will Save Your Soul came out as a CD single. Felt like a good day to share this memory—my first ever TV performance, on Late Night with @ConanOBrien. Just me, a guitar, and a song I’d written at 16 while hitchhiking through Mexico. Forever grateful to Conan and the other late night shows like @JimmyKimmelLive who really do help break young artists careers!

Song 2 of me singing the entire PIECES IF YOU ALBUM in order If you like this series - pls interact w the videos cause they are longer and the algorithm will suppress them otherwise I wrote “Pieces of You” when I was 18. To help me hold up a mirror to prejudice. The song intentionally uses harsh language—sexism, homophobia, antisemitism, bullying—because I wanted listeners to hear the kinds of things people actually say to each other, and to confront how fear and judgment get projected onto others. At the heart of the song is a question I was wrestling with: Why do we sometimes hate people who reflect parts of ourselves? Why do we reject in others the very pieces of ourselves we haven’t learned to accept or understand yet.

#Foolishgames was written when I was 18 or so. I was trying to conjure the same cinematic angst as Leonard Cohens The Famous Blue Raincoat. I was also heavily influenced by Pablo Neruda and his use of color and texture.I will release the second half of the song next! The song was too long for socials!

Here is the second half of foolish games. For those new here, I thought I’d sing the entire album Pieces Of You in order. This is song 4. You can hear the prior ones by checking out my page. I really need to practice Painters, Adrian and Amen. Lordy those are long ones too! What songs are you looking forward to the most?

I’m gna have to learn some songs! I have not done painters or Amen or Adrian in 5,000 years 😅 https://t.co/dsuLxHOSj2

I’ve been writing a lot lately. I’ve always found it fascinating how my creativity goes through seasons. After an intense time of painting and creating visual art, suddenly words, diatribes, are coming to me. And I’ve learned over decades that that will give way to the silence of poetry. Or perhaps the restoration of reading alone to manage the headwaters of creativity.

7 min long song! Let’s do it! Massive memory lane for me singing this ⚡️ https://t.co/rAs3FxMyvu
