Early reading. We have captured 3 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 47 interactions against 57K followers, an engagement rate of 0.083%. Posts are seen about 842 times each, and 5.58% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.48% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.3 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 3% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 3 posts sampled, 33% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 154 interactions, about 3.3x its own typical post. Only 3 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 199,274 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,893 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 10:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 176 characters, which falls in the 80 - 180 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 80 to 180 characters run 3% below the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

THE USUAL SUSPECTS: How Old Useful Idiots Are Pushing Another Lockdown Psyop Veteran propagandist Saddique Shaban is once again stoking fear by pushing choreographed videos provided by the Ministry of Health, with Andrew Kibe’s tweet overlayed asking β€œWho else can smell a lockdown loading?” - a clear attempt to normalise the idea. SADDIQUE SHABAN: The Serial Fearmonger Saddique Shaban is no stranger to weaponising fear. During the 2020-2021 COVID period, he was one of the most aggressive voices on X (then Twitter) pushing panic, lockdowns, and compliance. He repeatedly attacked those questioning restrictions, celebrated curfews, demanded harsher measures, and mocked people sceptical of the official narrative. His relentless fear-mongering helped create the psychological environment that allowed war criminal and mass murderer Uhuru Kenyatta government to impose economically devastating restrictions that threw thousands of businesses into ruin, destroyed livelihoods, and deepened poverty across the country. Without any honor or shame, he’s back with the same script, this time around Ebola. ANDREW KIBE: The Deadbeat Gen X Sellout Andrew Kibe, the loudmouth Gen X commentator, appeared on BBC recently in an appalling interview where he spent more time falling into conversational booby traps and chasing sideshows than addressing substantive issues. This is no coincidence. Kibe has increasingly struggled to speak truth on boychild disenfranchisement and emasculation because doing so would require exposing the state’s deliberate hand in it. Having done shady deals with corrupt government demagogues, he is now severely handicapped - left with nothing but incoherence and deflection. His tweet subtly sanitising the lockdown idea is classic controlled opposition behaviour. THE GENERATIONAL BETRAYAL: If given half a chance and sufficient financial recompense, the generation of old useless bastards - Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials - would gladly condemn the entire country to chains. Right now, many of them are more triggered by Gaitho β€œinsulting” Uhuru Kenyatta and Rigathi Gachagua than by the very real threat of an Ebola-driven lockdown that could be exploited to postpone elections. Millennials in particular remain suspiciously quiet, hiding behind religion and sanctimonious, self-righteous posturing. It is no coincidence that the key architects and amplifiers of this latest mooted lockdown - @bonifacemwangi , @SaddiqueShaban , and @kibeandy - all fall squarely within that age group. They were compliant during COVID, they benefited from the chaos, and they are ready to do it again. Kenyans must remain vigilant. The same cast of characters who helped engineer economic destruction in 2020-2021 are back on the stage, reading from the same fear script. This is not journalism or commentary. This is psychological operations by compromised voices.
