#ATENCIÓN OPERACIÓN “TRACKER” CAE DE ESTRUCTURA ARMADA DEL GDO “LAGARTOS” DEDICADA A EXTROSIONES EN GUAYAQUIL. Siendo las 04h30 de la mañana, la Policía Nacional ejecutó la operación TRACKER, que es una mega intervención con 14 allanamientos en distintos sectores de Guayaquil, que permitió desarticular un brazo armado del GDO “Los Lagartos”, actualmente subordinado a “Tiburones Mafia 18”, que operaba en el sector del Guasmo Sur, en Guayaquil. La estructura criminal se dedicaba principalmente a extorsionar a comerciantes, empresas y negocios mediante el cobro de dinero, además de estar vinculada con sicariatos, secuestros, desapariciones, robo de vehículos, tráfico de armas y microtráfico de drogas. Esta banda delincuencial había iniciado un proceso de expansión de sus actividades hacia Chile, donde buscó establecer alianzas con bandas locales. Gracias a la cooperación entre la Policía Nacional del Ecuador y la Policía de Investigaciones de Chile (PDI), se logró la expulsión y deportación de uno de sus integrantes, con Notificación Azul de INTERPOL, para que responda ante la justicia ecuatoriana. Los 14 allanamientos se realizaron con un contingente de 150 policías y 16 fiscales en inmuebles utilizados como centros de operaciones y planificación criminal en los sectores de Proletarios Sin Tierra, Pablo Neruda, Molina de Frank, La Cristal y El Mosquito. Detenidos: •Anthony Isaac Segura Valdez (IIPR, con antecedentes por extorsión y procesos por robo y detenciones en 2023 y 2025) •Luis Gabriel Segura Navarro (antecedentes por tenencia ilegal de armas y falsificación de moneda y detenciones en 2011 y 2025) •Luis Ángel Segura Idrovo. •Jhon Jairo Cuero Valverde. •Dany Javier Estupiñán Nazareno. •Hamilton Felipe Véliz Figueroa. •Ismael Alfredo Abad Menoscal. •José Ignacio Ayoví Medina. •Elkin Gabriel León Clevel. •Anggi Denis Ortiz Corozo. •Carola Jamileth Quiñónez Jiménez. •Xiomara Lilibeth Cortez Segura (antecedente por tráfico ilícito de sustancias en 2026). •Elkin Omar Alulema Escobar. La investigación también permitió vincular a esta estructura con el secuestro y desaparición de un ciudadano, el robo de un vehículo tipo taxi y un esquema sistemático de extorsiones, en el que exigían pagos de entre USD 300 y USD 1.000 bajo amenazas de muerte y ataques armados contra establecimientos comerciales.
