Engagement
Early reading. We have captured 1 original post for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.
A typical post picks up 8 interactions against 451K followers, an engagement rate of 0.002%. Posts are seen about 3.4K times each, and 0.237% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.749% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.03 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 3% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.8K interactions, about 230x its own typical post. Only 1 original post have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

Well i've been in hospital for 10 weeks now, fighting a rare infection. Only 1% of people have this is the world and 70% don't make the first year. I've had 3 surgeries, 2 x ICU stays. I find myself longing for my bed, my house, home cooked food. But for now I just want health and to make this fight. 2.5 months down π

Thank you so much for your messages, encouragement and prayers. They mean more to me than you know β£οΈ Unfortunately, during surgery they discovered when they removed the haematoma I was flooded with infection again, a new aggressive infection. This is the absolute worst-case scenario. Iβm now being hit hard with more IV antibiotics, and will need major reconstructive surgery Tuesday or Wednesday, possibly even including removing parts of my femur. This will be my 20th surgery on my left leg. Iβm completely devastated. Iβm losing a lot of blood, through a prevena dressing that sucks infection and blood out. I'm in extreme pain and can barely move my leg at all. Two surgeries ago was meant to be my final surgery, so having to now remove parts that were permanently placed is going to be extremely difficult. I would absolutely love your prayers at this time. π I am so appreciative. Love Emma x β£οΈ ππ» These just keep filling up.

Back in surgery today π Sadly my 32cm incision from my major surgery 3 weeks ago has developed a massive hematoma and i have lost alot of blood. I have to go back into surgery today, and i would love your thoughts and prayers, i don't have many surgeries left in me. π Since Dec 7th 25 I've only made it home 7 weeks πͺ I thought i may have been able to go home in a week π To say I am devestated is an understatement, Thank you in advance Emma x

π Unfortunately, I don't have great news. I am having the MASSIVE SURGERY this Tues or Wed, involving 2 orthopaedic surgeons, a plastic surgeon, and 2 ID specialists, but today I filled up the litre Prevena dressing. I really need to ask for your prayers that the blood loss slows down so the surgeons' hands are not forced to operate earlier with less planning. Thank you in advance for your prayers π and encouragement. I need them more than you can know β£οΈ Love, Emma x This is just today ππ»

Where to begin π I finally ended up going home the end of April and made it home for 4 weeks and 3 days π Reconstructive surgery was all scheduled for the 12th June. On May 27th I rolled over in my bed and my hip dislocated again!! π They had to do an emergency closed reduction straight away as the dislocation was compressing my siactic and femoral nerves. (Put the hip in manually) I was then on to the ward to rest and wait for my surgeon to come up with a new plan. He decided to bring forward my reconstructive surgery and fix the damage of the dislocation at the same time. Directly after the closed reduction I couldn't feel my bum, leg or foot. We were hoping it was just the imflammation. Two days later he combined both surgeries and put in my 8th titanium hip replacement on that leg!! I was finally infection free. I've lost alot of bone due to infections in both my hip and femur, and I have so much ligament, muscel and tissue damage that only time will fix. 5 days later the NEW Hip replacement was completely full of staph again!!! π A different strain then the last one, that caused the last dislocation. The wound has had trouble closing as it has been through 9 times and is 32cm long. It has already burst open 3 times with blood and infection. Unfortunately 4 weeks on I still can't feel my bum, thigh, or foot, it will take approximately 3-24 months for the feeling to return because of the damage to the nerves. Too say I am COMPLETELY over it is an understatement!!! The tank is empty. I have been getting smashed with 9 litres of antibiotics a day. I'm critically low in hemaglobin even after blood transfusions as my body just can't catch up with surgery after surgery. The new plan is to wait till I'm infection free AGAIN and replace this brand new titanium Hip replacement with my 9th Hip replacement. But first we need to get on top of the infection and learn how to physically get around on one leg. I have no idea how long I will be here, it's already been a month. My hospital ward has become my family and I am extremely grateful for the same fimilar faces. I would love your prayers xx πβ£οΈ

ANOTHER MAJOR SURGERY Tomorrow morning....π Surgery 20 on this one leg/hip alone, and I desperately need your prayers. My recent surgery developed a massive, "NEW" infection, and I am in the most excruciating pain of my life. I am losing a significant amount of blood, and my leg has swollen to double its size. Because of the new infection, my medical team has had to come up with a new plan. I am heading into a massive, high-risk surgery where they will meticulously cut away extensive scar tissue from 19 previous surgeries, from mutilple joint replacements, and the recent damage to my sciatic nerve where i still can't feel my foot, bum of back of thigh, just so my orthopedic surgeons can get a clear pathway through. They have to completely strip everything out. Because my previous hip replacement was put in with "permanent" fixtures. It looks like I am definitely going to lose a portion of my femur, maybe half to three-quarters. They will fill the space with an antibiotic spacer, let my body rest, and then attempt one final hip replacement and bone dicsection. This will be my absolute LAST chance. The 3 specifics for prayer are. 1. That the surgeons can successfully remove the permanent fixtures. 2. That I stop losing blood. 3. That we can finally be infection free Thank you so much, Emma xx β£οΈ ie.. What i am holding up is a prevena dressing. It goes along your surgical wound like a pad with a suction tube, and sucks out all the infection and blood. They started with smaller ones and work up to these, and I am unfortunately filling them all π’ Thank you so very much for all youe encroueing messages, i will get back to them π

I want to thank absolutely everyone for praying for me, sending DMs, Messages of encouragement. I have been in hospital since the 7th Dec until 7th of May this time. I can now stay home for 4 weeks only before returning to hospital for another 3-4 months for reconstructive surgery. Sorry for the break, but thank you for the support, it really means more than you know!!! πβ£οΈ I'd love your continued prayers as I navigate the next few months π For now I am sooo happy to be in my own environment, my own bed, not being woken up all the time, and this puppy on my lap who I have missed immensely π₯°

I've NEVER been in so much pain from a surgery in my life. I wasn't sure what to expect because I didn't do research deliberately on this surgery, and I am so thankful I didn't either, as I just assumed an "internal amputation" was so different. All my bones and joints were removed from my pelvis to my knee, yet I can still see "the leg."I have stitches past my short line to my coccyx, and that was a bit of a wake-up callβover a 50cm scar. They will remake the joints and bones to fit in. How astronomical! π² I pray that this is the surgery that eradicates all these infections because this surgery 21 on this left leg and I am officially done. Thank you for your ongoing prayers and encouragement; it means more than you know, Love Emma xx β£οΈ

So this face really explains everything in the last 5 months. To think i have been in hospital this long is unfathomable. In the last 12 months I have been here for nearly 8 months now. I'm literally scared of my own shadow now. Not much more can happen then it has in the last 12 months. I've had 7 surgeries, MRSA Golden Staph, Sepsis twice, Bactermina, normal Staph twice, and the scariest of all and what's had me here nearly 5 months in a row with a 10 day break home is this rare bone eating infection that only 1% of people in the world get, and 70% don't make the first 12 months. I'm pretty numb to be honest and in disbelief most of the time. Dissociation is my new best friend. I'm usually the talker and I've gone quiet. It's impossible to even grasp the reality of the last 5 years let alone 12 months. My nursing ward has become my family and safe place, because it's extremely hard to talk to anyone about it all because it's emotionally taxing, and when I finally do, I find myself talking about everything else that is completely unimportant butttt what is actually happening to me as it makes me re-live it. I only have family visit to keep the risk of further infections at bay as I am completely immune compromised. I'm constantly telling others around me it's ok I will be alright, but I don't actually feel that way. It's like I have this need to over compensate by comforting others around me who show emotion towards what has happened to me, except myself. I am still on track for reconstructive surgery and praying the date doesn't change from June 12th. Then I'll be here for another long stay. Praying like mad there is no more hic ups that puts that date off, as I am holding on to it for dear life. In-between that, I hope I make it home for at least a few weeks before that. But I want to thank everyone for their prayers, messages and reaching out. I have had a peace at times that really does surpass normal understanding, and have needed that peace to get me through, because God knows I'm at my limit mentally and physically. So Thank you πβ£οΈ

So It's been up there with the hardest couple of days of my life. Which has now bought me to my HARDEST fight to date. As you know I have been fighting MRSA Golden Staph for nearly 6 months, and have shared many of the challenges that have happened along the way, as well as the surgeries and a few things inbetween. I was given some terrible news a couple of days ago. During my surgery last Monday they took some cultures and aspirations from my bones, and they have come back that I have an extraordinarily hard to fight fungal infection that has spread throughout my whole system, and is throughout my bones. It is about 10 times harder to fight than golden staph. As you can imagine my body is already incredibly weak after fighting MRSA for 6 months, and that's what happens with other infections like this, they get in when your immune system is down. They believe it must have been growing in my system for about 3-4 months to have already got to this stage. As of now. I will have surgery on Monday, tomorrow, and they will have to take absolutely everything out again. The hip replacement, plates, screws, everything and fill it in again with concrete and antibiotics. Then I will be having 9 hours of IV antibiotics a day. Now the medical mortality rate is very low, but I believe in God, π and I believe in miracles, and most importantly the power of prayer, and we NEED that now. So im going to ask for all of those. I'm in for a really tough fight and I need your love, support, and prayers. Please know I don't know or have all the answers, and will not be readily responding to everyone, but I do read every message and they definitely help to encourage me, and I definitely need that encouragment now. For now I will bunker down and fight as hard as I can β£οΈ Love Emma xx
