Posting timing

This account posts most often around 06:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

China’s high speed trains travel at around 350 km/h while passengers work, have coffee or sleep as if they were on a regular commute. The scale behind that experience is remarkable. China’s high speed rail network now extends beyond 50,000 km, supported by an immense system of tracks, bridges, tunnels, signalling, power infrastructure and continuous maintenance. The next generation CR450 is being developed for commercial speeds of around 400 km/h, which will demand advances in aerodynamics, braking, energy efficiency and passenger comfort. For me, this is where innovation becomes truly interesting. Progress is not only about achieving a higher speed or a bigger number. It is about turning complex technology into something reliable enough to become part of everyday life. The future stops feeling futuristic when people can use it without having to think about the technology behind it. #China #Technology #Innovation #Future

Never be intimidated by the size of your competitor. When Hindustan Lever acquired Nihar to challenge Parachute, there was considerable anxiety at Marico. They had deeper pockets, a stronger distribution network and far greater resources. Even bankers advised me to sell rather than take them on. I sought @DrRam_Charan's advice, and two things he said changed my perspective. First, Parachute was our resource generating engine, and we had to protect it at all costs. Second, while I was personally leading the battle at Marico, the responsibility at Hindustan Lever would sit several levels below its top management. That distinction gave me enormous confidence. We took them on, protected our business and eventually acquired Nihal from them. Sharing this experience with Ram Charan at the ASCENT Conclave brought back a lesson that has stayed with me. Know who you are competing against, not merely the organisation you are competing with. #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #Marico #ASCENTConclave @MaricoLimited @ASCENTweets

One of our failures at Marico taught us an important lesson about the Indian consumer. We had launched baked snacks under Saffola. We believed there was an opportunity for a healthier snack and, given Saffola’s association with health, it seemed like a good fit. The product did not succeed. When we went back to understand why, we realised we had focused too much on health because it was under brand ‘Saffola’ as it stands good for health and not enough on taste. In a category like snacking, consumers may appreciate the health proposition, but they will come back only if they enjoy the product. We remembered this when we entered the oats category. Oats were considered healthy, but the way they were consumed globally was largely sweet. Our research showed us that Indian consumers preferred savoury breakfasts. We also found that tastes differed considerably across the country. In Tamil Nadu, for example, we developed a Pongal variant. In other markets, consumers wanted something spicier. That understanding eventually led us to Saffola Masala Oats and multiple flavours designed around Indian tastes. New Category of masala oats with an 80% of market share, our combined strength in both plain and masala oats gives market leadership." For leaders, the challenge is to give teams the freedom to experiment while maintaining rigour. A well thought through experiment may still fail. Poor execution is a different matter. Knowing the difference allows an organisation to keep experimenting without becoming careless. #india #leadership #consumer #strategy #product @MaricoLimited

Fascinating to see how innovation can transform what was once considered agricultural waste into a valuable raw material. This facility in China is processing abaca fibre from banana plants grown in the Philippines into denim. #innovation #technology #sustainability https://t.co/YMRrgrD5sI

Some products become part of your routine without you really noticing when it happened. I first wrote about Neeman’s a few years ago when the brand was still young. I had started wearing their shoes and found them extremely comfortable. I continue to wear them today, and it has been interesting to watch the brand grow during the same period. Neeman's is also part of the Sharrp Ventures portfolio, which is led by my son Rishabh and his team. For me, the strongest validation of any consumer brand is whether you continue reaching for the product long after the first purchase. In a market where consumers have endless choices, earning that repeat preference is difficult. Neeman’s has managed to do that for me, and it has been good to watch an Indian footwear brand grow in a highly competitive market. I look forward to following its journey from here. A useful reminder: most outcomes are shaped by a few things done well. Health needs consistency. Wealth needs discipline. Relationships need listening. Learning needs understanding. Progress needs persistence. The exact 80:20 split may vary, but the principle holds. Find the few actions that matter most. Then give them most of your attention. #leadership #mindset

We outsourced maths to calculators, phone numbers to mobiles, directions to maps and facts to search. Now AI is taking over tasks. At this rate, the one thing we cannot afford to outsource is our judgement. Technology should make us more capable, not more dependent. Use the tools. Keep the thinking.

Watching a cliff swallow build its nest is quite remarkable. It carries one tiny pellet of mud at a time, patiently shaping a home strong enough to protect the next generation. It made me think about how meaningful work is often built. Rarely through one dramatic moment. Usually through small, consistent efforts that may seem insignificant on their own, but create something lasting over time.
