Fred Guttenberg engagement report
@fred_guttenberg - 460K followers on X
Measured over 10 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 29, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 1.1K interactions against 460K followers, an engagement rate of 0.241%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 81% of 4,143 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 91K times each, and 1.22% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 19.7% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 50% carry an image or video and 40% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.7K interactions, about 5.2x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Fred Guttenberg's engagement rate beats 81% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (4,143 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 55% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.241%, Fred Guttenberg sits above the 50th percentile of the 40,201 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.082% to 0.441%.

The extremes of American politics love to blame Jews for antisemitism rather than the antisemites themselves. Let me put it plainly: there is absolutely no justification for antisemitism. There never has been, and there never will be. No amount of victim-blaming or gaslighting by Hasan Piker can shift moral responsibility away from where it belongs: the antisemites who commit acts of violence and terror against Jews.

If you know me, you know I love my morning mountain view in the Smoky Mountains. You also know Jaime's favorite color was orange. With the morning sunrise, I feel like I am in heaven with Jaime. This morning, we were joined by the Academy Award. I served as a consulting producer on the Academy Award winning documentary All The Empty Rooms and this week I get to have the actual Academy Award with me. It is truly humbling to hold this Award for what it means but also because you can never remove the reality of why I was involved in the film. Jaime, we miss and love you every second of every day.

MAGA and DSA are copycat extremists. However, the DSA can still be stopped. The MAGA takeover of the Republican party is complete. DSA can still be shown the door and function as the independent outside movement that they are. If the majority votes they lose. Michigan Democrats, show up and VOTE!!!

- What is Fred Guttenberg's engagement rate on X?
- Fred Guttenberg (@fred_guttenberg) has an engagement rate of 0.241%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 460,252 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.241%, Fred Guttenberg sits above the 50th percentile of the 40,201 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @fred_guttenberg have real engagement?

It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @fred_guttenberg post?
- Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.5 posts per day across the measured window.
