A typical post picks up 123 interactions against 208K followers, an engagement rate of 0.059%. Measured over 30 original posts, its engagement rate beats 50% of 20,183 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 25K times each, and 0.499% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 11.9% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.4 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 03:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 30 posts sampled, 67% carry an image or video and 17% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.5K interactions, about 44x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #gocrimson, #ncaambb.

Compared with accounts its own size

Fran Fraschilla's engagement rate beats 50% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 26% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.059%, Fran Fraschilla sits above the 25th percentile of the 202,467 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.142%.

They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 67% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 17% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 222 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Last thought: I can’t recall a football or basketball game result being overturned AFTER the fact. But if the Big Ten admits that there was a mistake in adding one second, aren’t they implying that the game was technically over and that Western Michigan won?

If we’re not sure whether the stadium game clock, the TV clock and the replay clock are out of sync, it means that we’re not sure which one is correct. In that case, I’m with Mike Pereira. For the sake of transparency, it should be the clock on the field, especially because millions are watching. You told us that they were all synced. They were not. It’s too late. Time to move on.

Some final thoughts on @ArizonaMBB tour: 1. While Lithuania did not have a couple of their NBA guys, the level of play was far better than 90% of these tours. The ‘Cats improved. (Something going on with 🇱🇹🏀 that needs to be fixed, BTW) 2. Keeping Mo Krivas healthy a must for the Wildcats. He’s already among best defenders in NCAA & offense improvement is dramatic. Tommy saved him for best opponent. 3. I was an early fan of Karchenkov because of his defensive fearlessness but the athletic improvement & 3-level scoring puts him in elite company (NBA friends want to see the 3-ball fall.) 4. Always been a Caleb Holt fan & we saw glimpses of his athleticism/energy. The game will slow down for him in November & December. 5. Dixon was solid as the full-time PG & shooting will be a bonus. (JJ Mandaquit will allow him to play off ball some.) 6. Flashes of Veesaar from Jarusevicius & Brnovic. Terrific energy on glass. 7. Cam Holmes is Wildcats’ Josh Hart with his hustle/toughness & Bryce James shows long-term flashes of being a great glue guy. 8. Lithuania Basketball loves Tommy Lloyd & Arizona so more hoopers on the way. @Big12Conference @ESPN_Big12

It a joke. @ArizonaMBB Ivan Karchenkov will be a major problem this season. He’s pushing grown men around like they are in middle school. He’s got a little Dan Majerle in him. Look him up.

In order to win a Heisman, you have to have some iconic moments. Trinidad Chambliss just had one of those tonight. And a great TV smile doesn’t hurt, either.

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 123 interactions against 208K followers, an engagement rate of 0.059%. Measured over 30 original posts, its engagement rate beats 50% of 20,183 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 25K times each, and 0.499% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 11.9% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. What is Fran Fraschilla's engagement rate on X?
Fran Fraschilla (@franfraschilla) has an engagement rate of 0.059%, based on the median interactions across 30 original posts from the last 30 days against 207,617 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.059%, Fran Fraschilla sits above the 25th percentile of the 202,467 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @franfraschilla have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 50% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @franfraschilla post?
Most posts go out around 03:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.37 posts per day across the measured window.
