A typical post picks up 841 interactions against 85K followers, an engagement rate of 0.997%. Measured over 21 original posts, its engagement rate beats 88% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 79K times each, and 1.07% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 93.0% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 21 posts sampled, 86% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.2K interactions, about 3.8x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Fouad Makhzoumi's engagement rate beats 88% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 43% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.997%, Fouad Makhzoumi sits above the 75th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the top 25% band, which runs 0.678% to 2.55%.

We are debating confidence in the government while more than three hundred thousand Lebanese remain displaced, waiting to return to homes they may no longer find. The South is devastated. Villages have been destroyed, Lebanese territory remains occupied, and destruction has spread to Beirut’s southern suburbs and the Bekaa, costing Lebanon billions of dollars. Behind these figures are families who have lost their homes and livelihoods, and who want work, security, dignity, and a state that protects them. This tragedy was not inevitable. It was the direct consequence of Hezbollah’s weapons, its monopoly over decisions of war and peace, and its subservience to Iran. It repeatedly drags Lebanon into wars the Lebanese people did not choose, leaving them alone to bear the consequences. We condemn the Israeli occupation, attacks, and demolition of homes. We demand an end to these actions and a full withdrawal from Lebanese territory, in parallel with the Lebanese Army’s disarmament of Hezbollah and all other militias throughout Lebanon, within a clear timetable and with verification mechanisms that ensure both commitments are fulfilled and state authority is established. We have granted this government our confidence twice, and we renew it today because it has restored hope and taken courageous decisions to reclaim the state’s decision-making authority. But confidence requires implementation: bringing all weapons under exclusive state control, returning displaced families to their homes, rebuilding, restoring deposits, and ensuring accountability, through parallel tracks of sovereignty, reform, and justice. Mr. Speaker, We reaffirm that completing the implementation of the Taif Agreement, foremost among its provisions the dissolution of all militias and the extension of state authority through its legitimate forces across all Lebanese territory, is not the political demand of one faction. It is a national and constitutional obligation without which Lebanon’s sovereignty remains incomplete. We ask the Army to protect our borders, confront terrorism, maintain security, and combat smuggling. But have we provided it with the equipment, funding, and decent living conditions its soldiers and their families deserve? We call on the Ministries of Defense and Finance and the Army Command to provide a comparative annual statement covering 2016 through 2025, identifying needs, requested and approved appropriations, actual expenditure, assistance received, and the funding gap. A shortage of resources does not justify illegal weapons. We call on the Army Command to firmly implement the Cabinet decisions of August 5 and 7, 2025, and March 2, 2026, including north of the Litani River; enforce the ban on Hezbollah’s military and security activities in coordination with the relevant agencies; and require Hezbollah and all other groups to surrender their weapons without exception, within defined deadlines and with regular government reporting. Providing the necessary resources and ensuring implementation must go hand in hand. In Beirut, our demand to declare the capital free of illegal weapons has not been implemented. The events in Burj Abi Haidar underscore the need for a time-bound plan to deploy the Army and Internal Security Forces, establish permanent checkpoints where necessary, and confiscate weapons. Mr. Speaker, We support the implementation of all commitments under the Trilateral Framework Agreement with the United States and Israel of June 26, 2026, with a timetable, monitoring, and verification that ensure compliance by all parties, exclusive state control over weapons and decisions of war and peace, full Israeli withdrawal, an end to attacks, and the safe return of displaced people. We insist on establishing a reconstruction and development fund that begins operating as soon as the Army assumes responsibility for security in each pilot zone. State institutions must accompany it to repair homes and infrastructure, restore services, support small businesses, agriculture, and industry, attract investment, and create jobs. The fund must operate transparently and under independent oversight, with resources reaching those entitled to them through legitimate institutions, free from favoritism. Development must reach every region, with projects launched now in the North, particularly Akkar, the Bekaa, and other underserved areas, enabling young people to remain in their communities. We will not accept public funds and aid being turned into partisan favors and instruments of dependency. We want rights that are not conditional on political loyalty, and a direct relationship between citizens and their state. Mr. Speaker, On financial matters, we call for a fair and transparent financial gap law that identifies losses and responsibilities and allocates burdens according to international standards, without once again making depositors pay for the mistakes of the state, Banque du Liban, and the banks. We also call for a deposit recovery plan that protects small depositors and specifies timelines and funding, alongside bank restructuring based on independent assessments, recapitalization, and the resolution of failing banks, to restore confidence and finance the economy. We call for completing the legislation and reforms needed for an implementable program with the International Monetary Fund, within a vision that protects depositors, controls spending. We call for a fair and balanced tax policy that reflects the ability of citizens and businesses to pay and encourages investment and production. Raising taxes must not remain the easiest option. On the judiciary, we demand genuine independence, We also call for restructuring the Military Court, which has been subject to political influence, and before which civilians have been brought on malicious charges or insufficient evidence. Its jurisdiction must be restricted to military and security personnel for offenses related exclusively to their duties. Civilian cases must be transferred permanently to the ordinary courts. We want reform that prevents injustice, so that general amnesty does not remain the remedy for its accumulation. Mr. Prime Minister, We renew our confidence in you in recognition of courageous decisions and to help make this opportunity succeed. We want tangible results and a government that acts decisively, speaks candidly, implements its decisions, and prevents the old system from returning. We will support sovereignty and a stronger Army, reform and judicial independence, the protection of depositors, reconstruction, and the return of displaced people. There can be no sovereignty without exclusive state control over weapons, no stability without reform and justice, and no confidence without implementation and accountability. In the firm belief in a sovereign Lebanon, a productive economy, justice for all, and one state, one army, one armed authority, and one national decision, I declare my support for this government and grant it my vote of confidence.

Reading these numbers

What is Fouad Makhzoumi's engagement rate on X?
Fouad Makhzoumi (@fmakhzoumi) has an engagement rate of 0.997%, based on the median interactions across 21 original posts from the last 30 days against 84,598 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.997%, Fouad Makhzoumi sits above the 75th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @fmakhzoumi have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 88% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @fmakhzoumi post?
Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.7 posts per day across the measured window.
