Kayla Barnes-Lentz engagement report
@femalelongevity - 457K followers on X
Measured over 48 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 30, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 28 interactions against 457K followers, an engagement rate of 0.006%. Measured over 48 original posts, its engagement rate beats 23% of 4,310 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 15K times each, and 0.185% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.25% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 48 posts sampled, 56% carry an image or video, 13% are part of a thread and 40% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 294 interactions, about 11x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Kayla Barnes-Lentz's engagement rate beats 23% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (4,310 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 14% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.006%, Kayla Barnes-Lentz sits above the 10th percentile of the 41,681 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.013%.

Gave a talk earlier on women’s health: We covered: HRT, female longevity risks and how to build a female longevity protocol, changes women experience in the perimenopause / menopause, bone density & muscle mass and so much more. 😘 Women’s longevity protocols should be quite different than men’s.

25 microhabits that support my hormones. (None of them take more than 10 minutes.) Light and circadian - 10 min outdoor light within 30 min of waking - Same wake time daily, weekends included - Dim overheads after sunset, warm lamps only - Cool, fully blacked out bedroom Blood sugar - Protein before my first coffee - Savory breakfast instead of sweet - 10 min walk after my largest meal - Fiber and protein before the starch - Last bite about 3 hours before bed Fuel - 30g+ protein at breakfast - 30 different plants a week - Cruciferous vegetables most days - Eating enough, especially on training days - Omega-3 rich food several times a week Muscle and movement - Strength train 3x a week - 2 minutes of movement every hour I sit - Loaded carries once a week - Easy zone 2 walk most days Stress and nervous system - 5 slow breaths, long exhales, before food - Caffeine with food, none within 10 hours of bed - Skipping alcohol - 10 quiet minutes a day with no input Exposures - Fragrance free personal care and laundry - Glass or stainless for anything hot - Tracking my cycle as a vital sign If you only pick three: morning light, 30g protein at breakfast, a 10 minute walk after dinner. Consistency beats intensity here. Bio-individual, work with your doctor.

If you’re not musclemaxxing, now is the time to start. Sarcopenia starts around 40. You lose roughly 8% of your muscle per decade until about 70, and around 15% per decade after that. (In the video I’m doing a pull down with my actual body weight) Before perimenopause, muscle holds steady in most cases. Through the transition it flips, and after menopause it falls about 0.6% a year while fat gain nearly doubles. We also start 30 to 35% behind men in absolute muscle mass. The transition widens a gap that was already there. So the stake is whether you can get off the floor unaided at eighty, whether your blood sugar stays in range, and whether your bones become brittle.

I have the "best oral microbiome result" that my dentist has ever seen! @DrSanda is my LA biological dentist. Here's my recent result, but more importantly, let's talk about how the oral microbiome impacts our health and longevity and what I do to keep mine optimized. Your mouth is the gateway to whole-body health. Why the oral microbiome matters for longevity: → Heart health: Harmful oral bacteria can enter the bloodstream and drive arterial inflammation. Poor oral health is linked to higher cardiovascular disease risk. → Brain health: Certain gum-disease bacteria (like P. gingivalis) have been found in the brains of Alzheimer's patients, oral care may be neuroprotective. → Inflammation: Gum disease keeps your body in a chronic low-grade inflammatory state, one of the core drivers of aging. → Blood sugar: Oral and metabolic health are a two-way street, inflammation here worsens insulin resistance. → Nitric oxide: The right oral bacteria convert nitrates into nitric oxide, supporting healthy blood pressure and circulation. Your mouth isn't separate from your body. Optimize it. Here's exactly what I do: - Daily flossing 1x per day - Water pik flossing 2x per day - No mouth washes - Prebiotic toothpaste - Oral red/blue light once a week (red for inflammation/blue for whitening) - I brush 5x per day personally, not sure if that's needed but I do it (once upon waking, after coffee, after breakfast, after dinner, before bed) - Don't drink alcohol which can disrupt microbiomes - Limit sugar and eat non processed foods. - Ozone pulling once a month or so By the way, I think it's pretty rare that I tag the docs that make these claims like best microbiome ever, I think it provides transparency. Lots of people just have their team behind the scenes, I love celebrating the amazing women that work with me, advise me, and share valuable insights on my podcast.

Why everyone feels like crap: - Addicted to your phone - Eats processed foods often - Goes to bed late to stay up watching TV - Rarely moves and going from the couch to the refrigerator doesn’t count - Is disconnected from nature and the sun - Can’t sit alone with their thoughts for 10 minutes - Can’t “find the time” to exercise - Orders takeout packaged in microplastics (eats microplastics all day) - Drinks microplastics all day (bottled water, tap water, soda) - Spends more time on social media than with people - Indulges in substances often (vape, weed, alcohol etc) And we really wonder why everyone feels awful? Start small, but just start doing something. Go on a walk right now, watch the sunset, go to bed early.

My exact protocol for optimal bone health. (A woman's lifetime risk of breaking a hip is greater than her combined risk of breast, uterine & ovarian cancer) Bone (and muscle) are what keep you physically independent as you age. ~80% of osteoporosis is women - 1 in 2 women over 50 will break a bone ~1 in 4 women dies within a year of a hip fracture Our bone peaks in your late teens and 20s. Most women aren't scanned until 65, when insurance finally covers it. Decades too late. The good news: you can build bone at ANY age. Proof: the LIFTMOR trial. - 30 min of heavy lifting, 2x/week, for 8 months. - Spine bone density: → Trained: +2.9% → Didn't: −1.2% - Two opposite directions, in under a year.

I'm the first woman to publicly measure her ovarian age, and now I'm running the experiments to find out what actually slows it down. Most people accept ovarian aging as fixed, I don't. So I'm testing interventions on myself, one at a time, and publishing the results. Intervention #1: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). 40 sessions. One hour a day, five days a week. Before HBOT, my ovarian age was 4.0 years younger than my chronological age. After: 4.2 years younger. This could be a meaningful ovarian longevity intervention. More to come on it. Next up: red light laser therapy. This is the first data from an n-of-1 experiment no woman has run in public before. Follow along, I will continue to share my results, good and bad.

Things woman should know about their health, PT one. Most of this never comes up at a standard annual visit. It should. https://t.co/n3HsaXOi7Y

Reading these numbers
A typical post picks up 28 interactions against 457K followers, an engagement rate of 0.006%. Measured over 48 original posts, its engagement rate beats 23% of 4,310 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 15K times each, and 0.185% of those impressions turn into an interaction. - What is Kayla Barnes-Lentz's engagement rate on X?
- Kayla Barnes-Lentz (@femalelongevity) has an engagement rate of 0.006%, based on the median interactions across 48 original posts from the last 30 days against 456,814 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.006%, Kayla Barnes-Lentz sits above the 10th percentile of the 41,681 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @femalelongevity have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 23% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (4,310 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @femalelongevity post?
- Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.17 posts per day across the measured window.
