A typical post picks up 140 interactions against 318K followers, an engagement rate of 0.044%. Measured over 50 original posts, its engagement rate beats 47% of 6,874 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 8.5K times each, and 1.65% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.68% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 50 posts sampled, 84% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.3K interactions, about 9.0x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #sydneymarathon, #sydneymarathon2026.

Compared with accounts its own size

Faizan Lakhani's engagement rate beats 47% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (6,874 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 61% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.044%, Faizan Lakhani sits above the 25th percentile of the 66,393 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.016% to 0.1%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • Its average post runs 372 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

6,017 DAYS LATER… PAKISTAN WIN A HOCKEY WORLD CUP MATCH! The wait is finally over! Pakistan have defeated Japan in the classification round to register their first FIH Hockey World Cup win in 16 years. Pakistan’s last World Cup victory came 6,017 days ago. That’s more than 16 years between two World Cup wins. Not a tournament triumph but after waiting this long for a single World Cup win, this one feels special.

Sydney Marathon. DONE! 4:54:41, a new marathon PR! Months of hard work, long runs, early mornings, tough sessions and plenty of sacrifices finally paid off. My 3rd marathon and, more importantly, my first Abbott World Marathon Major. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me through this journey. My friends, supporters, sponsors and everyone who donated to my Parkinson’s UK fundraising campaign. Your support carried me through those difficult miles. A special thank you to Shoaib Nizami for introducing me to running; Faisal Shafi and Adnan Gandhi for always being there with guidance; Kaukab Sarwar for constantly motivating me; and my running mates Tariq Bhoja, Qaseem Saeed, Ali Kazi, Saulat, Mehwish, Shumyla and Hina Malik for sharing countless training miles with me. To my SVRC family and the RKR community, thank you for making this journey so much more than running. Proud to have done it wearing Pakistan on my back. The hard work paid off.

Sydney Marathon, a race I’ll remember for a long, long time. My first World Major. My third marathon. And, most importantly, my new personal best. From the months of training and the long runs to finally standing on the start line in Sydney, every kilometre felt like a reward for the work that went in behind the scenes. Running alongside 40,000 participants from around the world, through the streets of Sydney, with thousands of people cheering us on, was an experience in itself. As a sports journalist, I’ve covered countless sporting events. As a runner, experiencing one from the other side gave me a completely different perspective. The legs hurt, the mind was tested, but crossing that finish line made it all worthwhile. Sydney, you were special.

Pakistan's defeat today reminds of the same question once again, is our domestic cricket actually good enough? Look at this XI, Azan, Imam, Shan, Abdullah, Saud, Agha, Abbas, Ali Usman, Mohammad Ali, Khurram… these are among the top performers of domestic cricket. And yet, when they step up to Test cricket, the gap is glaring. We can't blame T20s for decline in Test team's performance as many of these players hardly play PSL. The uncomfortable truth may be that our domestic cricket produces numbers but not necessarily top quality players. The bigger issue is of player development. There is clear gap between domestic and international cricket and instead of using NCA or A team tours to bridge this gap, we often expect players to make that leap themselves. And, then we change the domestic structure again, and again, and again. Maybe the problem isn’t that we don't have performers. It is that we don’t develop them well enough for international cricket.

Tomorrow, months of hard work, early mornings, long runs and countless kilometres come down to 42.195km at the Sydney Marathon. My third full marathon but my first Abbott World Marathon Major. Proud to represent Pakistan on this global stage. I’m also making one final reminder about my Parkinson’s UK fundraiser. If you can support the cause, I’d be truly grateful: https://t.co/vBnEXofZeh One more sleep. One more race. Give it everything.

What is Faizan Lakhani's engagement rate on X?
Faizan Lakhani (@faizanlakhani) has an engagement rate of 0.044%, based on the median interactions across 50 original posts from the last 30 days against 317,634 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.044%, Faizan Lakhani sits above the 25th percentile of the 66,393 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @faizanlakhani have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 47% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (6,874 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @faizanlakhani post?
Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.07 posts per day across the measured window.
