Deeply saddened by the tragic demise of Shri D. Yadagiri (Giri) Ji, S/o Shri Sadanand Mudhiraj, a senior BJP leader from Musheerabad. Despite reportedly having court orders in his favour, he and his family allegedly faced relentless harassment and pressure from the Masjid Committee to vacate premises where they had been tenants for nearly 50 years. The allegation that this prolonged mental harassment ultimately drove him to suicide is extremely serious and demands a thorough investigation. I participated in his final rites and demanded immediate action from the Government and Police. Following the complaint, the accused were arrested in a non-bailable case. Every person responsible for the harassment that led to this tragedy must be identified and brought to justice. Giri and his family deserve justice.
