@davidgokhshtein - 814K followers on X
Measured over 48 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 522 interactions against 814K followers, an engagement rate of 0.064%. Measured over 48 original posts, its engagement rate beats 65% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 44K times each, and 1.18% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.45% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 3.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 27% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 22:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 48 posts sampled, 19% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 6.2K interactions, about 9.6x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #cardano, #bitcoindefi.

Compared with accounts its own size
David Gokhshtein's engagement rate beats 65% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 55% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with bagworking and talking about the bags you hold if you actually believe in them. Somewhere along the way people got scared to be bullish on the shit they own. Bring back bullposting.

What meme from this cycle do you think has a real chance of becoming a multi cycle runner?

If memes weren’t being taken seriously, you wouldn’t have institutions building indexes around them. VanEck’s MarketVector literally has a Meme Coin Index tracking the largest memes, with $DOGE, $SHIB and $PEPE currently sitting at the top. Meme culture is real. Fading it or refusing to embrace it at this point makes absolutely no sense to me. Memes are going to bring millions of normies into crypto because they understand the culture before they understand the technology. And eventually a lot of those people are going to find their way into Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and the rest of the top tier assets. That’s why I keep saying meme culture should be embraced.

If you want to win big in crypto, at some point you’ve got to take a real chance on the plays you have conviction in. You can’t play scared the whole time and expect life changing results.

Some people give up on a meme way too fast because it doesn’t send right away. Maybe it’s not today. Maybe it’s next week or a month from now. Maybe the community needs to work harder. Maybe more people need to see it. And sometimes a good meme just needs time before it catches. The real question is whether you actually believe in what you’re holding. Because if you don’t, you probably shouldn’t be in it in the first place.

- What is David Gokhshtein's engagement rate on X?
- David Gokhshtein (@davidgokhshtein) has an engagement rate of 0.064%, based on the median interactions across 48 original posts from the last 30 days against 813,636 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.064%, David Gokhshtein sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @davidgokhshtein have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 65% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @davidgokhshtein post?
- Most posts go out around 22:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 3.53 posts per day across the measured window.
