A typical post picks up 355 interactions against 289K followers, an engagement rate of 0.123%. Measured over 39 original posts, its engagement rate beats 63% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 9.7K times each, and 3.65% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.37% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 39 posts sampled, 95% carry an image or video and 26% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 8.5K interactions, about 24x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #situlaomutindo, #afrigoband, #bulungibwansi2026.

Compared with accounts its own size

Charles Peter Mayiga's engagement rate beats 63% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 79% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.123%, Charles Peter Mayiga sits above the 25th percentile of the 213,004 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.025% to 0.147%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 213,004 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,390 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 09:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 95% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 3% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 409 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

The news of the passing of His Majesty, Omukama Oyo Nyimba Rukidi IV, has been received with shock and extreme sadness. I received the news from Omuhikirwa of Tooro, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire last evening, and I immediately informed His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, who was saddened by the demise of the young monarch (34 years). The Kabaka urges the people of Tooro to stand together during this period of grief. The Kingdom of Buganda stands with the people of Tooro, and all Ugandans, during this sad moment. May the Lord receive King Oyo's soul. CPM

On behalf of the Kingdom of Buganda, and on my own behalf, I extend our best wishes to Rukirabasaija Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma upon his ascendancy unto the throne of Tooro. We look forward to the unity and prosperity of the Kingdom of Tooro. Buganda's and Tooro's centuries' old brotherhood and fraternity shall flourish for the good of their peoples, and all Ugandans. May God's light shine upon Tooro! CPM

Weekend Vision story echoes my advice to young people about building (especially residential) houses. Early house construction drains resources needed for growing business. Take your time, grow your investments, an own house will follow as a matter of course. Don't let your partner intimidate you into building/buying a house...its a wrong choice for long term financial stability. CPM

Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV is laid to rest today. He lived a short life of 34 years, but, he carried a great responsibility and left behind a legacy that will endure beyond his reign. I have picked out some of the key reflections from His Majesty's (Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II) message. 1. “With courage and grace, he carried the weight of kingship through circumstances that were often challenging and formidable.” 2. “Despite the difficulties that surrounded him, and the demands placed upon him at a young age, he bore his responsibilities with regal poise and dignity.” 3. “In challenging times and demanding circumstances, he remained steadfast in his commitment to his people and faithful to the responsibilities of his station.” 4. “He grew into an internationally respected monarch whose presence commanded respect, whose humility won admiration, and whose dedication to Toro left an enduring mark on his Kingdom and our nation.” 5. “Omukama Oyo’s reign inspired generations of young Ugandans to appreciate the enduring value of culture, heritage and service.” 6. “He demonstrated that traditional institutions continue to play an important role in nurturing identity, strengthening unity in diversity and preserving our shared heritage.” 7. “His passing therefore represents not only a profound loss to Tooro, but also to the entire fraternity of Uganda’s traditional institutions.” 8. “Together with the entire Royal Family, they now bear a burden of grief that is shared by all who knew and loved Omukama Oyo.” 9. “As we mourn, I urge the sons and daughters of Toro to remain united in purpose, calm in spirit and steadfast in faith.” 10. “Let this moment of sorrow not divide, but rather strengthen, the bonds that unite the Kingdom.” 11. “Let all who loved Omukama Oyo honour his memory through fortitude, dignity and a continued commitment to the peace, stability and prosperity of Toro.” 12. “We stand with you in mourning. We pray with you in grief, and we shall continue to stand beside you as brothers and sisters during this time of bereavement.” 13. “May the Almighty, whose peace passes all understanding, grant eternal rest to the soul of His Majesty Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru IV, comfort his family, and strengthen the Kingdom of Tooro.”

Europe is richer than Uganda, with better facilities, infrastructure, institutions, and systems. That's why asylum seekers flock there. To tell a village mate who is poorer than you (Uganda) to receive an unwanted guest is extremely disrespectful, more so when you promise to pay for the relocation of that guest. CPM

What is Charles Peter Mayiga's engagement rate on X?
Charles Peter Mayiga (@cpmayiga) has an engagement rate of 0.123%, based on the median interactions across 39 original posts from the last 30 days against 288,861 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.123%, Charles Peter Mayiga sits above the 25th percentile of the 213,004 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @cpmayiga have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 63% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @cpmayiga post?
Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.7 posts per day across the measured window.
