Chuck Todd engagement report
@chucktodd - 2.1M followers on X
Measured over 72 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 168 interactions against 2.1M followers, an engagement rate of 0.008%. Measured over 72 original posts, its engagement rate beats 42% of 3,758 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 62K times each, and 0.271% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.93% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 7.4 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 67% of days. Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 72 posts sampled, 42% carry an image or video and 46% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 103K interactions, about 613x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #flsen, #al96, #decisionmade.

Compared with accounts its own size
Chuck Todd's engagement rate beats 42% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 25% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.008%, Chuck Todd sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

This account posts most often around 13:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Here in Florida, we have a governor’s race, and House races we need to win to take back the chamber, and of course the Senate race. So, my campaign has made a $400,000 contribution to the Florida Democratic Party. And that is just the beginning. Over the course of the next few days and weeks, we are going to make more contributions to the places it will matter most. Because I want you to know that your support is going where you intended: to help elect Democrats everywhere and to put a check on Donald Trump’s power. Our campaign received a record number of individual donations — more than almost 500,000 of them from people who want Democrats to win everywhere. It’s only right that the money continues go toward that.

BLANCHE: No, I'm not going to pledge that, and no attorney general ever should WELKER: So if the president asked you do to something that you feel crosses an ethical or legal line, would you do it? BLANCHE: He would never do that. He never has. He never will.

Quite the midterm message Trump is sending voters this week: Bond market manipulation is causing Treasury Secretary to lose credibility on Wall Street. People are dying of a disease we had once basically eradicated until RFK Jr was handed the public health baton and this in today’s NYT: “Hegseth’s Purge of Top Generals Leaves the Army Rudderless”. Oh and we are in a trade war with Canada.

Tonight's all about @DavidCCrowley. He's earned this win and the accolades. I am so proud of David—he's the future of our Party, and I can't wait for him to be our next governor. For now, we polka. Tomorrow, we're back at work to win. @TomTiffanyWI, we'll see you in November.

🚨 DSA Co-Chairs Squirm When Pressed on Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua This is a longer clip, but it captures the best parts of a broader discussion DSA national co-chairs Ashik Siddique and Megan Romer had with The Moment hosts Jorge Ramos and Paola Ramos. Jorge repeatedly presses them on whether Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua are dictatorships. They repeatedly avoid giving him a direct answer. Romer eventually responds that “Cubans have access to their democracy in a way that we do not,” pointing to Cuba’s 2022 Family Code referendum as evidence. That referendum was only four years ago, making it an especially curious answer to Jorge Ramos repeatedly pressing her on decades without multiparty elections. Ashik Siddique fares little better. Asked whether Cuba is a dictatorship, he pivots to the U.S. embargo and the state of American politics, responding that “it’s hard for us to judge other countries being dictatorships when we have Donald Trump as president.” Paola eventually steps in and identifies the problem at hand. DSA can be anti-imperialist without becoming apologists for these regimes. They should still be able to recognize and explain what makes them authoritarian. When it comes to international politics, DSA is often at its most revealing. Siddique and Romer are not even among the organization’s most die-hard internationalists. This is really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how radical DSA’s international politics can get.

- What is Chuck Todd's engagement rate on X?
- Chuck Todd (@chucktodd) has an engagement rate of 0.008%, based on the median interactions across 72 original posts from the last 30 days against 2,115,787 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.008%, Chuck Todd sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @chucktodd have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 42% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @chucktodd post?
- Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 7.43 posts per day across the measured window.
