A typical post picks up 695 interactions against 170K followers, an engagement rate of 0.409%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 83% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 10K times each, and 6.85% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.96% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 27% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 90% carry an image or video and 10% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 30K interactions, about 44x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #اسرائیل, #لبنان.

Compared with accounts its own size

courtneybonneauimages's engagement rate beats 83% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 92% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.409%, courtneybonneauimages sits above the 50th percentile of the 206,215 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.68%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 206,215 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,270 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 10:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 90% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 545 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

The Israelis have for the third year in a row imposed strict conditions on residents of border villages who wish to harvest their own olives or perform any type of agricultural work. Farmers must obtain prior approval and submit their full name, the exact location of their land, the nature of the work, the number of workers, a contact number, and even a photo of any vehicle that will be present. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture, 6,600 hectares of olive-producing areas have been partially or completely destroyed by Israeli aggression, which includes the use of white phosphorus, bulldozing trees and uprooting and stealing them. Recently we sat down with the mayor of Kfarshouba, who told us about the arduous process to obtain the proper permits to farm his own land. Israel has reportedly proposed partitioning the land and splitting up into sections, much like the West Bank model. Cameraman: @aliezzeddine00

Directly under the quadcopter in the first photo, there is a blue building. It was a school in Houla that had been damaged in a bombing, but it was still standing. The last time I photographed this school was Monday. In the second photo, above the ‘eau’ in my logo, you can see what remains of the school. Just in the last few days, the Israeli army completely destroyed it. Schools are civilian buildings and protected under international law. The destruction of this school is a war crime.

The Israeli army in the last week has carried out multiple civilian home and infrastructure demolitions in Al Khiam. The town is almost completely razed to the ground and Israeli flags line some of the streets. They have also built a brand new illegal occupation base on top of the historic Al Khiam detention center, which used to sit at the top of the town. This is the second illegal base in Khiam; the first was built on Hamames Hill.

Israeli bombing in Zowtar Al Sharqia, which is the other side of town from the so-called pilot zone Zowtar Al Gharabieh. There is rubble removal work being done on one side of town while the Israeli army continues to destroy the other side on a daily basis. I’ve been to Zowtar during the day several times and observed the IDF demolishing civilian homes with explosives, excavators and D9 bulldozers.

What is courtneybonneauimages's engagement rate on X?
courtneybonneauimages (@cbonneauimages) has an engagement rate of 0.409%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 170,209 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.409%, courtneybonneauimages sits above the 50th percentile of the 206,215 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
