A typical post picks up 84 interactions against 1.3M followers, an engagement rate of 0.007%. Measured over 11 original posts, its engagement rate beats 29% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 6.5K times each, and 1.29% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.518% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.43 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 33% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 11 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video, 9% are part of a thread and 27% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 37K interactions, about 445x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Billy Ray Cyrus's engagement rate beats 29% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 54% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.007%, Billy Ray Cyrus sits above the 10th percentile of the 204,798 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

This account posts most often around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Rest in Peace Miss Dolly. This is the last performance she and I did together in Dollywood for her Christmas special. We sang “Christmas Where We Are” ! What most people don’t know is Dolly moved the entire film schedule shoot date because my mom Ruthie had passed away. Dolly Parton … You have touched the hearts of the world . You have made your mark and made it well …. A shining light that will shine on beyond the sun and moon …and certainly this crazy planet. From this day henceforth is forever known as … at least in my broken heart 💔…. as After Dolly. A.D. 8.25.26 A.D.

Family means more than ever now. I always called my little girl Miley. Just … Miley.  Just like I always called my little boy Braison. Bet you didn’t know … I was just CYRUS before Achy Breaky Heart came out in 92. All of my swag and T shirts only read. CYRUS  SOME GAVE ALL with a picture of a POW MIA flag on it that and the words  ..  “You are not forgotten.“ I told @miley yesterday I felt good about her going with her first name. I mentioned Dolly and Cher. Thinkin about it more and more … Elvis .. Prince …and so on. It’s a natural progression for an iconic superstar legend. And the legend continues ! Looking forward to the new album. Now … if only Mercury / Polygram would have just not insisted on the” Billy Ray” part and just let me be CYRUS……  I could have done something!!!  Ha ha !!! 🤣 All good.  👍🏼

May 20, 2010. A special day I will forever cherish. You can see I dressed from head to toe in Tennessee! Not only … That year we filmed the Hannah Montana Movie 🎥 here in our beautiful, very film friendly, home state of Tennessee. Later in 2010, I also had the incredible honor of being personally hand-picked by Kenny Rogers to be Daniel Burton, the lead character in his heartfelt Christmas in Canaan movie, a story he had written as both a book and screenplay. @DollyParton 📷 Curtis Hilbun

    P. S. @MileyCyrus I am coming in early to clean and shine the sidewalks before the big day.  It’s only once in a lifetime, a Daddy from Flatwoods, Kentucky gets to see his little girl … evolve into an Actress into a full fledged Rock Star ⭐️ to circling back to … “oh by the way “.  Time for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame !!!!  Can’t make this up. Art …imitating life …imitating art once again in the Cyrus Family.

Never have I shared this… until now. I’ve posted one of my most prized possessions before: a handwritten letter from Johnny Cash. This one sits right beside it. To me they go together … Brother Cash and Sister Parton. They are the hearts and minds of two of my heroes that both took the time to express their most personal and sincere thoughts to an ole Kentucky Boy. @DollyParton gave it to me a few weeks after we first met in Chicago in the spring of 1992. “Achy Breaky Heart” was just beginning to take off and Some Gave All hadn’t even been released yet. And soon after I received this letter, we’d go on to sing “Romeo” together with Tanya Tucker, Kathy Mattea and Mary Chapin Carpenter. So many memories and moments with Dolly, from network television specials to Hannah Montana. More than 30 years later, we’d do our last song together, “Christmas Where We Are.” Today felt like the right day to share it. Shine on, Dolly. ❤️ #DollyDay #9to5 #dollyparton

On this Memorial Day Weekend, before I say anything else, I want to first say that my heart truly goes out to Kyle Busch’s family, his wife, his beautiful children, everyone at Hendrick’s Motorsports and the entire NASCAR family. I’ll never forget summer of 2019 … OTR was as hot as a record could get and so was Kyle. I remember it would make me smile as he lifted that trophy high into the air after winning all those races as his little boy danced around the stage. Kyle would agree, thanking all of our veterans for their service and their sacrifice that allows us the freedom … to chase our dreams. I’m looking forward to a surprise performance of Some Gave All tonight to honor them. Billy Ray Cyrus. 📸Stacy Revere/Getty Images @GettyImages

Reading these numbers

Measured over 11 original posts, its engagement rate beats 29% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. What is Billy Ray Cyrus's engagement rate on X?
Billy Ray Cyrus (@billyraycyrus) has an engagement rate of 0.007%, based on the median interactions across 11 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,260,869 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.007%, Billy Ray Cyrus sits above the 10th percentile of the 204,798 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @billyraycyrus have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 29% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @billyraycyrus post?
Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.43 posts per day across the measured window.
