A typical post picks up 42K interactions against 995 followers, an engagement rate of 4234.6%. Measured over 28 original posts, its engagement rate beats 100% of 1,224 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 580K times each, and 7.29% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 58288.7% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 27% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 28 posts sampled, 64% carry an image or video and 7% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 209K interactions, about 4.9x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Aly's engagement rate beats 100% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,224 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 1 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 87% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 4234.6%, Aly sits above the 99th percentile of the 13,919 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the top 1% band, which runs 269.2% and above.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 13,919 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 269,226 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 7% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 48% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 394 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 12% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

So long, America🫡🇺🇸 49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us. This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped we’d get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now we’re flying home with friends all across the USA. Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country we’ve ever visited. So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isn’t nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome! I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly: “If you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.” Thank you, America ❤️🇺🇸

Isn’t it weird how unsubsidized consumer goods like TVs, appliances, clothes, all get cheaper and cheaper…while anything government puts its hands on, healthcare, housing, food, tuition, cars, utilities…just gets more and more unaffordable? Oh well. Probably nothing.

🚨ABSOLUTE MIC DROP FROM ELON ON DOGE!!!! Elon Musk: "ZERO died because of DOGE. Zero point zero!" "When funding is stopped for a fraudulent organization, or for something do you think they're going to say,"Will you please keep funding the fraud!' Or do you think they're going to come up with a sad story that sounds sympathetic in order to get the funding restored? Obviously it will be the latter and that's exactly what they did!!!" LIBERAL WHITE WOMAN: "The cuts certainly caused unnecessary suffering!" Elon Musk: "No." LIBERAL WHITE WOMAN: "You don't buy that at all?!" Elon Musk: "It caused a lot of complaining!" LIBERAL WHITE WOMAN: "You don't believe any kid in Africa died because of the suddenness with which... Elon Musk: Zero! How many NGOs could step in? There are literally tens of thousands of NGOs. The Gates Foundation has FIFTY BILLION! What about them? What about any number of organizations?!" ELON IS ON FIRE!!!!!!

New York City will require IDs to prove you live in the city in order to shop in the city owned grocery stores. So you need an ID to shop in the city’s stores, but it would be racist to require an ID to vote. Perfection. https://t.co/hCKeG8d7e4

We were… right. - Social distancing was a hoax - Masks were a joke - Lockdowns were worthless - mRNA jabs were dangerous - Case fatality rate was low - Ivermectin worked - Hydroxychloroquine also worked - Remdesivir was a killer - COVID came from the Wuhan lab - Fauci funded it Fauci lied about it all. Fauci lied to profit himself. Fauci abused YOU to bolster his ego, money, and power. Put the despicable villain in prison.

Reading these numbers

What is Aly's engagement rate on X?
Aly (@aschmidty33) has an engagement rate of 4234.6%, based on the median interactions across 28 original posts from the last 30 days against 995 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 4234.6%, Aly sits above the 99th percentile of the 13,919 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @aschmidty33 have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 100% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,224 accounts), which puts it in the top 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @aschmidty33 post?
Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.1 posts per day across the measured window.
