A typical post picks up 30 interactions against 64K followers, an engagement rate of 0.048%. Measured over 51 original posts, its engagement rate beats 34% of 20,445 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 10K times each, and 0.293% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 16.0% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 27% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 51 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.3K interactions, about 44x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Around Liverpool's engagement rate beats 34% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,445 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 5 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 13% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.048%, Around Liverpool sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.143%.

This account posts most often around 10:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 2% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 396 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Look at this what these have sent in: “Hello mate! We are starting a local taxi company for local licensed drivers we are a couple of local taxi drivers and we are sick to death of hearing the same shit by every customer there fed up of these out of town licensed drivers picking them up half them are terrified getting in taxis at the moment with what’s going on in the country wondering if you can get a word about we don’t mind paying what ever it is but hopefully this will make a difference in the city 🙏🙌” - I hear so many women saying they don’t feel safe in taxis with these people. I’ve had to pick my mates bird up from town a few times because she refuses to even get in the car with them. Many others simply just don’t like them and don’t want to give them their money. What ever your reasons there is an alternative. The world is waking up

Good news. We now have a second team patrolling Liverpool, looking for undesirables. We have the Street Guardians who focus more on town of a weekend. Then there is ‘The Patrol’ who focus more on parks of a day. They are actively recruiting volunteers too. Here is what they sent in: “Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce The Patrol and explain a bit about who we are and what we’re about. We’re a Christian community patrol across Liverpool, set up to get out into different parts of the city and help people who need it. Our patrols won’t just be in the city centre, we’ll be covering different areas during the day, evenings and nights. A big part of what we do will be supporting vulnerable people and helping those who are homeless. With winter coming, we’re going to be putting more time into homelessness outreach and making this a regular part of our work. We’ll also be putting training in place for our volunteers, including first aid and safeguarding, so people are prepared for the situations they may come across while they’re out. We want both men and women to be able to get involved, with people bringing their own skills and experience. There’s already a lot being worked on behind the scenes, including further patrols, training and other projects which we’ll be announcing over the coming weeks and months. We’re looking forward to getting started and building The Patrol across Liverpool. The Patrol - Liverpool https://t.co/E2wA5KHH32 “ Instagram: The Patrol - Liverpool Facebook: The Patrol - Liverpool

This is Manchester. But this is the reason why we have 2 groups now in Liverpool. We have The Street Guardians and we have a new group called ‘The Patrol’. Because we have gangs of Muslims loitering all over town harassing and taking advantage of drunk women on nights out we need groups of people who walk around looking out for women. These preditors tend to congregate around Matthew Steet, Concert Square, Church Street and taxi ranks. I go out on patrols with the teams now and again and I see it every time. This is very real and I’ve seen it with my own eyes. They are nothing like our people. They do not drink but they stand around until 5am waiting to pick women off when they are out of it. Be aware of these people. This is what our government are allowing in by the boatload and these are the people Muslims defend and call everyone racist when they call it out. They like to come here tell us that it’s us that are the problem. They disgusting me. Millions must go if we want to live in a safe society. Can you imagine the outcry if this was the other way around? White men always sexually harassing Muslim women and recording them. Always r@ping them. They would burn this city down.

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 30 interactions against 64K followers, an engagement rate of 0.048%. Measured over 51 original posts, its engagement rate beats 34% of 20,445 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. What is Around Liverpool's engagement rate on X?
Around Liverpool (@aroundliv) has an engagement rate of 0.048%, based on the median interactions across 51 original posts from the last 30 days against 63,721 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.048%, Around Liverpool sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @aroundliv have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 34% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,445 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @aroundliv post?
Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.77 posts per day across the measured window.
