Measured over 28 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 1.2K interactions against 4.3M followers, an engagement rate of 0.028%. Measured over 28 original posts, its engagement rate beats 63% of 3,791 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 109K times each, and 1.12% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.51% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.93 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 50% of days. Most posts go out around 00:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Compared with accounts its own size
António Guterres's engagement rate beats 63% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,791 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 59% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.028%, António Guterres sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

I condemn in the strongest terms today’s actions by the Israeli authorities to unlawfully enter & remain on the @UNRWA Kalandia Training Centre in occupied East Jerusalem & carry out unauthorized works in those premises. I am greatly alarmed at this development, as it will deprive young people from the vocational education they were receiving. These actions against UNRWA premises are wholly unacceptable & inconsistent with Israel’s clear obligations under international law. I urge the Government of Israel to immediately cease the interference with UNRWA premises, vacate, return & restore all affected premises to the @UN without delay, and protect those premises from further interference or damage. https://t.co/JOpP3yJBVW

Despite the so-called ceasefire in Gaza, civilians continue to pay a heavy price every day. People are being killed in their homes, in their communities, and while carrying out ordinary acts of daily life - as Israel increases its control of Gaza. Living conditions remain intolerable & horrific diseases are spreading - with humanitarian operations heavily impeded. The prolonged suffering must end.

Syria’s sovereignty, independence, unity & territorial integrity must be fully respected. Violations by Israel of the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement are unacceptable & must stop.

Human rights are not West or East, North or South. They are not a luxury – they are not negotiable. They are the foundation of a more peaceful and secure world.

I have long admired the rich history of Syria & its extraordinary contribution to the civilization of the world. The Syrian people have shown extraordinary resilience through years of hardship. They should not have to carry the burden of recovery alone. The international community must match their determination with sustained support & assistance.

I am deeply concerned by the serious escalation & renewed military confrontations in the Gulf, including the Iranian attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, the attacks by the US on Iran, and the attacks by Iran on targets in the neighboring countries. These attacks must all stop. A return to full-scale hostilities would have catastrophic consequences – for the peoples of the region, for international peace & security & for the global economy. I urge Iran & the US to urgently resume negotiations & to address outstanding issues through diplomacy.

- What is António Guterres's engagement rate on X?
- António Guterres (@antonioguterres) has an engagement rate of 0.028%, based on the median interactions across 28 original posts from the last 30 days against 4,327,765 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.028%, António Guterres sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @antonioguterres have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 63% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,791 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @antonioguterres post?
- Most posts go out around 00:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.93 posts per day across the measured window.
