A typical post picks up 1.0K interactions against 399K followers, an engagement rate of 0.258%. Measured over 11 original posts, its engagement rate beats 85% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 47K times each, and 2.20% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 11.8% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.2 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 47% of days. Most posts go out around 04:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 11 posts sampled, 73% carry an image or video and 9% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 173K interactions, about 168x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Andrew Bogut's engagement rate beats 85% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 70% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.258%, Andrew Bogut sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,880 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.678%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 9% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 536 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

BREAKING: Journalist bowls @AlboMP middle stump at the UN Press conference, and he was rattled. "Prime Minister, here in New York on Wednesday night, you will receive an award for being a global citizen. Don't you feel like a bit of a fraud accepting this award when, at home, you screwed up the response to the worst massacre since Port Arthur? In the polls, you are taking Labor to one point shy of Julia Gillard when you rolled her, and your net negative is worse than Scott Morrison's." auspol

Mr @DHughesy , Comedian by trade, is shining more of a light on state and federal corruption than any journalist could ever dream of. Concerning that this IS the level of journalism in Australia. But hey the Richmond Tigers had a Mad Monday in which a journalist drove 1 hr to record a private function.

Albanese wants you to believe he had no idea he was an honorary member of Marrickville Golf Club. That is bullshit. The club still had him on the books. He never declared it. He has declared honorary memberships at other golf clubs, including Royal Sydney. So the register works fine when he feels like using it. It just somehow missed the club in his own electorate, the one his government then handed $6.05 million. This is the same man who publicly campaigned to save that course. The same local member who has spent years talking about that precinct. Now he is the innocent bystander who “doesn’t play golf,” “has no card,” and “hasn’t been in the clubhouse for years.” That is not a defence. That is a Prime Minister insulting your intelligence. Then comes the kicker. He has a long record of owning multi-million-dollar property on Beauchamp Street, including a house marketed as sitting across from and overlooking Marrickville Golf Club. He sold that particular house in 2021. He still owns a multi-million-dollar Marrickville property. Same suburb. Same street association. Same course. Same Prime Minister. Same $6 million. And the grant itself was not some national golf-course lottery. It came from Labor’s “invitation-only” $560 million infrastructure program. You did not apply. They picked. Surprise surprise….Guess what… 73% of the money went to Labor seats and Labor-target seats. Reporting on the scheme is that Marrickville was the only golf club invited to seek funding under that program. Other clubs, including ones that actually wanted a shot, were not asked. So the story Albanese is selling is this: 1. He didn’t know about the membership he failed to declare. 2. He just happens to have spent years tied to that club. 3. He just happens to have owned a multi-million house on the same street as the course. 4. His government just happens to have written that course a $6 million cheque from a closed list almost nobody else could get on. 5. And the ABC should “do better” for noticing. Labor crucified Bridget McKenzie over $36,000 and an undeclared honorary membership. They called it a rort and a resignation offence. Albanese’s version is more than 160 times the money, in his own seat, next to property he has owned, from a slush list his party designed, and he makes “no apologies.” If you still believe he “wasn’t aware,” you are the audience this routine was written for. Anthony Albanese you sir are a farking disgrace and have zero integrity.

Sometimes support comes from where you least expect it. That happened recently when Australian comedian Dave Hughes publicly backed Ryan and the Meuleman family, calling on Victoria Police to properly examine the Bike Boy Investigation & evidence in a post on X. Thanks, Hughesy! https://t.co/Syy23jfJYD

What is Andrew Bogut's engagement rate on X?
Andrew Bogut (@andrewbogut) has an engagement rate of 0.258%, based on the median interactions across 11 original posts from the last 30 days against 398,806 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.258%, Andrew Bogut sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,880 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @andrewbogut have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 85% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @andrewbogut post?
Most posts go out around 04:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.17 posts per day across the measured window.
