Mme NIZIGAMA possède une solide expérience en gouvernance. Le commerce, l'investissement, l'agriculture, l'exploitation énergetique, les mines et la transformation numérique étant les secteurs identifiés comme présentant un potentiel important pour le Burundi. 🔹Le Chef de l’État burundais a également encouragé davantage d’entreprises vietnamiennes à explorer les opportunités d’investissement offertes par le Burundi. Il a, par ailleurs, salué la contribution de Lumitel au développement du pays. 🔹Du côté vietnamien, le Premier ministre Lê Minh Hưng, a réaffirmé le souhait d'élargir les domaines de collaboration, notamment dans le partage d’informations concernant les marchés et les projets, afin de faciliter l’identification de nouvelles opportunités économiques. Alessandro Villa, récemment désigné pour diriger la Délégation de l’ @UEauBurundi. 🔹Ce mardi 15/9/2026, M. Villa a présenté les copies figurées de ses lettres de créance, au Ministre des @MAEBurundi, Amb. @Edbiziman. 📌Parlant de son Agenda, l’Amb. Villa a réaffirmé son engagement à redynamiser la coopération, en mettant l’accent sur l’économie et le partenariat fructueux entre les deux parties. Il a également indiqué qu’il privilégiera des échanges réguliers afin de mettre en œuvre efficacement ses missions au Burundi. Parmi les sujets évoqués figurent la préparation du dialogue de partenariat entre l’UE et le Burundi, le Global Gateway Forum, la promotion des échanges culturels ainsi que le soutien aux initiatives humanitaires.
