A typical post picks up 29 interactions against 696K followers, an engagement rate of 0.004%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 23% of 3,791 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 19K times each, and 0.156% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.66% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.47 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 80% carry an image or video and 20% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 2.9K interactions, about 99x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #abb, #apollopipe, #bhel.

Compared with accounts its own size

CA Afzal Lokhandwala's engagement rate beats 23% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,791 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 13% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.004%, CA Afzal Lokhandwala sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,759 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 36,759 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 106,964 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 08:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Made history in 2022 as the first Indian to ever win the US Investing Championship (+447%). Clinched the 2nd place in 2023 (+500%), setting a two-year world record. India shines!

Most studies are done backwards - they find stocks that exploded and then find chart patterns before they exploded. The result is - forced patterns. They draw lines and find breakouts everywhere all the time. Doesn't make sense to me.. I'll give you ONE pattern - I call it the Wavy Base Pattern (WBP), very rare. You'll train your eye like never before. You'll spot real A+ breakouts like never before. I'll share 100 charts - A+ WBP Breakouts that look exactly same all the time. Before I start, I just want you to bookmark this and come back at #100 and tell me if your eye changed.

#COPPER was stuck in a range from 1993 to 2005 ($1.7 to $2.45). It broke out of the range in Q2 2005 (moving 45% from the swing low), and FURTHER moved up by 100% in just a year. See the chart. #COPPER was stuck in a range from 2011 to 2025 ($3 to $5.6). It broke out of the range in Jan 2026 (moving 30% from the swing low), and FURTHER would move up by __ % in just a year. Take a guess! Copper may shock the world when it doubles from here, but not serious chart readers.

Holding 4 positions in India. Added #SBCL on Friday. Currently trading at my cost price levels. I have more setups lined up in Auto, Chemicals and Pharma, but I need to de-risk existing trades first. Awaiting a strong move in either of these ones. I'm positive on the Indian market after a long time.

Every position I am holding was bought in the last 30 days. All of them are working. That tells me one thing. The Indian market is strong right now. One piece is still missing. The large-caps are not participating yet. When they join in, you get the smooth, trending market we saw in 2020-21 and again in 2023. The kind where good setups just keep coming. A strong market does not help a trader who has no system. It rewards the one who already has a system and actually runs it. So the question is simple. Do you have a system you trust, and can you execute it without flinching when the move comes?

July 1 was a historic day :-) I took 3 trades on a single day in the Indian markets. I was focused on global markets for many quarters, and now, I see some light coming back in the Indian market. I entered #PARACABLES, #CMPDI and #RAYMONDREL At the moment, the stocks are around my entry price. Do not copy blindly.

Iran and the USA started again yesterday. Traders are panicking. And I just put 1.15 crores in two stocks today in India. I would rather be wrong trading charts than trading Donald Trump. Here is what the charts actually said.

In my previous post, I shared a few charts from heavy electrical engineering. Inside our club, we entered #BHEL today as it fits our buying criteria. The stock has not yet broken out of the base, and we have already entered the stock before the breakout. Often, our setup allows us to get in stocks before they breakout. Often, after our entry, positive news or announcements come out in the public, and that pushes the stock to breakout. Having said that, every position we take has a stop loss. It means if the stock goes against us, and hits our stop; we sell. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Trade with conviction, but always have stops.

We entered #APOLLOPIPE on 17 August. Refer to this post: https://t.co/3VVAKVhmyN Since them, the stock made a vertical move from the entry, and this is how we want our stocks to behave right after the entry. Today, I just booked partial profits in APOLLOPIPE here and will hold for more.

There is a lot of talk about #anthropicAI, and it all came down to a day of heavy selling in IT stocks today. Let's look at the weekly charts of the top IT stocks in India. 1. #INFY - This has been locked within the range of 1100 and 1900 for 4 years. I would never look at such a stock to put my money in. 2. The same goes for #Wipro 3. And here is your #TCS - continues to stay weak. I'd look for stocks in an uptrend - and not those that are stuck within broad ranges for so long. These IT stocks need to prove strength by breaking out of their ranges. Until then, I am ignoring them totally. The best time to participate in them was 2020-2021 (look at the left side of these charts)

What is CA Afzal Lokhandwala's engagement rate on X?
CA Afzal Lokhandwala (@afzal_57) has an engagement rate of 0.004%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 696,433 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.004%, CA Afzal Lokhandwala sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,759 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @afzal_57 have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 23% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,791 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @afzal_57 post?
Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.47 posts per day across the measured window.
