A typical post picks up 396 interactions against 888K followers, an engagement rate of 0.045%. Measured over 39 original posts, its engagement rate beats 56% of 1,003 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 35K times each, and 1.12% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.97% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.4 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 39 posts sampled, 69% carry an image or video and 38% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.6K interactions, about 14x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #dandarostreets, #lausannedl, #olympicsolidarity.

Compared with accounts its own size

Fadzayi Mahere🇿🇼's engagement rate beats 56% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,003 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 5 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 51% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.045%, Fadzayi Mahere🇿🇼 sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,981 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.007% to 0.047%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 38% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 49% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 338 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 13% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

🔸One of the things that pains me most about the Kariba Ferry disaster is that most of the people on the boat were travelling to rural Kariba, carrying goods for resale in their small businesses. A great number of them were women. Who doesn’t know that all too familiar story of a mother carrying a baby on her back with another in hand going off to buy and sell goods to feed her family? It’s unsurprising that it’s reported that one of the victims of the tragedy was recovered with a baby on her back. This is a community that never asked for handouts or government grants. All they needed was a functional public transport system so that they could work and feed their families yet the Govt failed them. They hate poor people. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

🔸92 dead and counting. So how many people had boarded the boat? If we cannot declare a period of national mourning here, when will we ever do so? The elites are too detached, too cosy in their mansions, too snug in their Range Rovers and too selfish to comprehend the enormity of the tragedy that has befallen the Kariba community. It’s a mess. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

🔸One of the main reasons I resigned from @ParliamentZim is because @ZANUPF_Official has completely castrated this institution, stripped it of its ability to execute its constitutional mandate of holding the Executive to account and rendered it a lifeless museum piece. Why is this captured member of the Speaker’s panel denying Kariba MP, Hon Mutsa Murombedzi, the opportunity to properly debate the Kariba Ferry Disaster? This is precisely the issue that an MP from this area should be raising as a matter of law. It is a matter that goes to the root of the bad governance crisis in Zimbabwe and it is foremost in the minds of ordinary people. Why stifle true representation of the masses? Why shield this incompetent regime from scrutiny? It’s a mess. They hate the poor. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

🔸When it’s time to buy state of the art, luxury vehicles for themselves, they are never short of money. When it comes to replacing a rickety ferry that’s the only mode of public transport for an underdeveloped rural community, they are always short of money. They hate the poor. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

"The boat had a fitness certificate, it was certified through the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development. The problems that occurred were as a result of negligence and human error by the captain of the boat. It had nothing to do with whether the boat was not fit or was https://t.co/g731J9JHTy had a certificate of fitness which was issued by the Ministry of Transport through the RIDA. So yes, it was very fit. Cabinet has approved that we go ahead and put in place an inquest to start investigations on exactly what took place, because there are a lot of stories that have been floated through social media. There are a lot ofstories that have been said by people without authority on how this boat and many other boats in Kariba are being managed. " Hon D. Garwe

At the village, deep in the Zambezi valley on one of the funerals of the Lake Kariba ferry disaster in solidarity with the community, I sat with Tonga women of Kariba rural Nyaminyami. They asked me questions that cut deep. Does the government even know we exist? Are they coming to mourn with us also? Do they know our troubles? Do they know that we dont have roads? Do they know we dont have electricity even though its generated in our backyard? Do they see how we are marginalized? In this tragedy, their grief is raw, yet they remain invisible. They said to me we hear that government ministers are gathered in urban Kariba with tents and ceremonies, here in rural Kariba where a lot of victims are coming to be buried home no one came. No resources, no recognition, no solidarity. Their voices cut through the silence: “Do they know us? Do they know our pain?” This is why I chose to be here. Because dignity must be defended where it is most denied

What is Fadzayi Mahere🇿🇼's engagement rate on X?
Fadzayi Mahere🇿🇼 (@advocatemahere) has an engagement rate of 0.045%, based on the median interactions across 39 original posts from the last 30 days against 888,494 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.045%, Fadzayi Mahere🇿🇼 sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,981 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @advocatemahere have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 56% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,003 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @advocatemahere post?
Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.43 posts per day across the measured window.
