A typical post picks up 83 interactions against 137K followers, an engagement rate of 0.061%. Measured over 31 original posts, its engagement rate beats 43% of 15,519 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 8.0K times each, and 1.03% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.87% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 31 posts sampled, 55% carry an image or video, 16% are part of a thread and 58% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.6K interactions, about 44x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Sami's engagement rate beats 43% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (15,519 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 41% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.061%, Sami sits above the 25th percentile of the 156,282 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.022% to 0.127%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 55% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 58% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
  • Its average post runs 803 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

In one of the latest clips, police can be seen at the property and the landlady appears to be taken into custody 😳 The circumstances haven't been confirmed. This guy fr needs a Netflix documentary made about this 🍿👀

Mr Jaiswal @MEAIndia Your own sentence gives the game away. The Prime Minister of Bangladesh was invited bilaterally; then "he" was invited to BRICS as chair of BIMSTEC. Which is he? A head of government isn't a coat rack for whichever title suits the host. Bangladesh's state minister Humaiun Kobir took you literally, "Our prime minister was not invited. The BIMSTEC chair was invited", and that literal reading is why the chair sat empty. Just flip it around. If Accra invited Narendra Modi as chair of the Ghana Business Forum rather than as Prime Minister of India, would South Block have sent him? You know the answer. For a new government whose leader's first India trip carries real weight at home, being routed into an outreach session under a secretariat label was always going to read as a downgrade. Dhaka's response, that the PM's first visit will happen when there is mutual respect, was absolutely predictable.

Indian national Robiul Islam Robi has travelled to Bangladesh several times over the past few years, each time on a different passport. He says he visits for business, yet there's no sign of any business he runs in Bangladesh, and no evidence that he has dealings with any local establishments. On his latest trip, he entered through the Satkhira border using yet another passport and met several members of banned @albd1971. But this time, luck wasn't in his favour. His movements were being monitored, and he was detained in an operation. Who does Robi really work for, and why does he keep coming to Bangladesh on different passports? What is his real mission? I hope the relevant authorities in Bangladesh will do their best to find the answers.

On 26 September, the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi hosted an ‘Ilish Fest’ at its Maitri Auditorium, bringing together Indian politicians, diplomats, academics and journalists. Outgoing High Commissioner Riaz Hamidullah also found time for a more personal gesture. By Abhijit Iyer Mitra's own account, the envoy ‘reserved a whole pot of Ilish fry’ for him. The attached tweet’s photograph shows Hamidullah at the tawa, laughing and pointing, flanked by Iyer Mitra and NDTV's Aditya Raj Kaul. @AJEnglish called Iyer Mitra a far-right Hindutva ideologue in 2023, when a US congressman was criticised for meeting him only. He has publicly demanded that India start deporting Bangladeshis and Rohingyas immediately and ‘kick them out’ (check the pinned image below in the comments). When a post circulated in March 2025 about Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus's remarks in Beijing, his entire reply was "Baiji'r Bachaa" (বাইজির বাচ্চা) — a Bengali obscenity aimed at Bangladesh's then head of government. And Bangladesh's envoy set aside a pot for him? Iyer Mitra’s views on Muslims more broadly are not hidden either. In 2020, he called @AltNews co-founder @zoo_bear ‘Jihadi Jabbar’ and posted, then deleted, a tweet about Zubair's mother that fellow Indian journalists read as a threat of sexual abuse. The courts have also dealt with him. The Delhi High Court found his language about Newslaundry's women journalists impermissible in a civilised society and took his undertaking to delete the posts; this April, a Delhi court ordered an FIR against him for sexually coloured remarks aimed at the same women. Further back, in 2018, Odisha police jailed him in a case that began with his comments on the Konark temple, and he ended up apologising unconditionally before a committee of the state assembly. Also, the High Commissioner is aware that Dhaka has yet to announce any hilsa export quota for this Durga Puja; the catch is poor and Bangladesh has been importing hilsa from India for the first time. Bangladeshis at home are struggling to afford ilish. On the contrary, a tawa full of it, kept aside for a man who wants Bangladeshis thrown out of India, is not something people would appreciate. Riaz Hamidullah is a seasoned diplomat, leaving New Delhi early next month to become Bangladesh’s Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva. He knows the difference between engaging adversaries, which is diplomacy, and personally feting a bigot, which is endorsement. He was not obliged to invite Abhijit Iyer Mitra; having invited him, he was not obliged to single him out; and having done both, he should have known the guest would broadcast it. A mission that dines with people who demand the expulsion of Bangladeshis, and who vilify Muslims as a class, lends Bangladesh's name to their project. Next time, vet the guest list. Ask one question: would this photograph embarrass Bangladesh? So that Bangladesh doesn’t sizzle on the tawa next to the fish.

This is a small report tucked away on an inside page of Prothom Alo. It is a remarkable story of job creation, industrial revival and export growth. Abul Khair Group has reopened four closed private jute mills in Faridpur and Kushtia, creating employment for around 15,000 workers. The revived mills have already begun exporting to markets such as Turkey and China, and the group has set a target of exporting 80,000 tonnes of jute yarn and jute products annually. There is a bigger story here as well, the company did not simply build four new factories. Because the jute business is capital-intensive and so many private mills stand idle, it chose to bring existing capacity back into production by taking over closed mills. It has now applied to lease three or four closed state-owned mills as well, and says it intends to move into higher-value jute products. There is no shortage of discussion and disinformation about factory closures, job losses and economic decline on social media and television talk shows. On the other hand stories like this rarely get the same attention: closed factories reopening, 15,000 people employed, production restarting and products being exported. I strongly believe Bangladesh will keep moving forward, creating businesses, jobs, investment and export opportunities. Stories like this show that a real economic story is unfolding beneath the noise. The challenge is to identify these stories, present the facts accurately and bring them to a much wider audience. And those in the @bdbnp78 responsible for highlighting such successes are failing miserably. https://t.co/fFtp9Fuoee

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 83 interactions against 137K followers, an engagement rate of 0.061%. Measured over 31 original posts, its engagement rate beats 43% of 15,519 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 8.0K times each, and 1.03% of those impressions turn into an interaction. What is Sami's engagement rate on X?
Sami (@ZulkarnainSaer) has an engagement rate of 0.061%, based on the median interactions across 31 original posts from the last 30 days against 136,883 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.061%, Sami sits above the 25th percentile of the 156,282 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @ZulkarnainSaer have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 43% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (15,519 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @ZulkarnainSaer post?
Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.97 posts per day across the measured window.
